Established in 2010.

Inspired by a love for chocolate and wine, our unique artisan chocolates and confections are created with a pairing with wine, beer and spirits. All the things we love. We source as many things locally as possible and pride ourselves on leaving the smallest environmental foot print with well thought out packaging.

Meet the Business Owner

From the age of three he’s been selling caramels, chocolates and candy, not his own mind you but those of his grandfather. Someone who enjoyed his sweets. During visits with his grandparents, he would often sneek caramels and candies from the coffee table bowl, some would be eaten but the rest hidden only to resurface as sellable goods to guests. Who could resist buying delicious treats from a three year old?

That’s where it started. His grandfather was always one to have a candy of some sort in his pocket, he enjoyed the gift of giving a little sweetness to help brighten someone’s day, often getting a smile in return. He thrived on it and Dirke isn’t that different. He loves seeing people enjoy his handmade chocolates and confections.

Of course he hasn’t always been a chocolatier, he’s often asked what he used to do, waiting for the story of transformation. It was a big transition, he admits. Starting as a commercial journeyman printing press operator migrating to a software technic
