Meet the Business Owner
Katie C.
Business Owner
Katie Caspell has been working with food since she was eight years old. She told her mother that she really enjoyed volunteering for lunches at 12th Avenue School in Burnaby although she did say «Soup day is crazy.»
She has lived in the Edmonds area since moving there with her family from back east, and says, «East Burnaby is an awesome neighbourhood. Pretty much everything you need is here.»
Her new venture, Kitty Kate’s Café, after her dad’s nickname for her as a youngster, aims to serve the Edmonds area coffee, muffins and other baked treats, as well as wholesome sandwiches and soups, and bag lunches for the ‘in a hurry’ crowd.
