I had gone to this nail salon once for a shellac manicure. It was fine except the color kept bubbling and the lady tried fixing it. I left with a couple bubbles but it was fine — I wasn’t too picky.
Today, I booked an appointment to come in for a shellac colour change. I was a few minutes late and the male owner or manager called me right away to see where I was. I walked in and was the only customer. It was dead. The lady removed my old shellac and started filing the crap out of my nails. She added two acrylic tips because I had broken a couple nails. She filed my nails SO hard at the corners on a couple fingers, that one had started bleeding. She said that I told her to keep filing that area, but I was trying to show her that she was doing it TOO MUCH. One of the nails, she filed the tip so much that it no longer matched any of my other nails at all. She quickly told the owner in Vietnamese to come and fix her work. I ran out of time so I told her to just forget putting the new color on or fixing it much, because my fingers were starting to really hurt and was bleeding. They tried fixing the shape but failed. I told them I would just apply color overtop myself. And guess what? They charged me for color removal even though she made me bleed and messed up my nails!
I am typing this IN PAIN right now. My fingers feel RAW and the corners of my nails hurt so much. After going home, the nails that they tried to fix looked like absolute crap — bulky, misshaped, uneven, and ugly.
I will never ever return to this nail salon.
