We’ve used this company twice and been really pleased. Nick gives free quotes and good advice — the first time telling us not to cut down the tree at all(even though it meant less business). The second time they cut the tree beautifully, cleaning up well and doing a great job. We didn’t opt to get the stump ground down(costs more) but they cut it so low the garden can grow up around it anyway. The price seemed really reasonable. Will definitely call Eco Tree Service for any tree issues.

We bought our first house and of course there were numerous things on the To Do list. One of those things was cutting down the huge fir in front of our house. The fir was split at a younger age and had grown into 2 separate huge tree tops, one leaning more towards my neighbour’s property. We had met our next door neighbour who was friendly and asked us if we could cut down the fir tree in the front and he would contribute to the final cost. He also gave us a quote from a tree service company at the end of the block for $ 1400 to cut it and an extra $ 300 to haul it away. I started shopping and came by an ad in the mail for Eco Tree Service. The guy seemed professional and we scheduled an appointment for the estimate. We also had these plum trees that were dying and had root rot. We decided to include these 5 trees as well. He said to cut down the plum trees and grind them it would cost us $ 400 and to cut down the fir as well as grind the branches, it would cost $ 900. We were happy to help our neighbour out and he did contribute. We wanted to keep the wood, so they took the branches and pines for mulching, and placed the wood by the side of our house. They were courteous and efficient with a guy up in the tree and other two mulching or sweeping to pick up excess pine. They had no extra hidden fees. It cost us $ 1300 plus taxes. I would take them up on the free estimate.
