Business Owner
Dr. Rose Jeans loves to make people look & feel better. She understands how the body works and responds to treatments, along with excellent technical skills and anatomical knowledge.
She attended UWO for a BSc & medical degree. She moved to Hamilton in 1989 to do her post-graduate training at McMaster University & achieved qualifications in Internal Medicine (1993), Infectious Diseases (1995) and Microbiology (1997) from the RCPSC.
Dr. Jeans was an Ass’t Professor at McMaster & the Head of Microbiology & Infection Control for HCH for 4 years. She was involved in teaching, clinical research & administration, & concurrently a consultant in Infectious Diseases & later Hyperbaric Medicine. She’s been published in journals & medical reference books.
For 8 years, she worked in the ICU and in the Cardiac Surgery program, assisting with open heart surgery. She worked in Plastic Surgery for over 4 years & collaborated with a plastic surgeon on research projects and a medical textbook.
