Love the organic bulk mixes they have! I shop at fortinos for that reason alone!

This grocery store offers fresh produce, a large organic section and a variety of international products. The staff are friendly, the location is very clean and we always find what we are looking for. The prices are higher than No Frills for example but the quality of products are better. You are also able to collect PC points, pick up flowers and bake goods from this location. They also have a Joe Fresh. Lastly, the store opens till 10pm most nights which allows us to pick up and last minute items for the next day. Great location, ample parking and easy to navigate inside as well.

It feels like more stock-outs than in. I want a store that I can rely on, and this isn’t it(the rewards program sucks too). Today I particularly wanted the pc-brand de-alcoholized beer, the pc brand organics old cheddar and a particular voortman cookie. ALLOUTOFSTOCK. Recently ‘the store wasn’t allowed’(???) to carry the pc-brand salted country churned butter sticks(how can that be?). A dissatisfactory experience far too often. Staff gets the rating up over zero stars — can’t take them home though.

You know how they say healthy and better grocery shopping is done on the periphery of the store — i.e. the fresh food(bread, dairy, fresh meat, produce, etc…)? Well Fortinos is a bit different in that over half the store is has produce, bakery and meat together. Suffice to say, that they are probably your best bet in town in terms of quantity and quality(compared to other grocery stores) for these items. For pretty much anything you’re looking for, they’re going to have more options and have some higher quality stuff which you may not find elsewhere. I’ve enjoyed their ‘black label’ brand for a wide range of things, including: granola mix, walnut mustard, chermoula, jam(seriously, how can they make blueberry jam taste so good!?!). Also, it’s probably the best kept secret that they have some of the best pizza in town. It’s cooked in a super-hot fire oven, and you have a whole bunch high-quality toppings to choose from. It’s the type of pizza you need to eat right away however, so don’t bother trying to do take out. Many other positive things to say — so why not 5 stars? I can’t comment on whether their fresh product is overly marked up, since it’s obviously better quality, but the standard packaged groceries is way too overpriced.

I shop here regularly because I also shop at the Walmart beside it. I like the supermarket, it’s very clean and staff is very helpful. I gave it only a 3 stars because on more than one occasion I found mold on packaged cheese that I had bought the same day. Like another reviewer mentioned the PCPLUS program is very helpful and I easily save $ 20 a week in groceries. They’re desserts in the bakery isle are divine! I really enjoy their fresh baked breads as well.

This is a decent Fortinos location. The staff is mostly helpful [although there are some unhappy ladies in the meat department]. Their weekly specials aren’t as good as they used to be, but I do appreciate the fact that they belong to «PC Plus». If you shop strategically, you can save quite a bit of money with that program.

I don’t shop for groceries at this location but I do buy the cakes they offer. They offer a wide variety of cakes and prices. I bought two cakes, a mango mousse cake and a cheese cake. The cheese cake wasn’t firm when it was cut, it was quite mushy. The reason for the 1 star is because someone found a FURBALL in their slice while she was eating. At first, it looked like a bug but a closer look. it came to be a furball. The furball did not come from her, it was inside of the cheese cake. How are they making their cakes if furballs are in it? That is gross and disgusting. I will never buy my cakes from here ever again.
