Absolutely and utterly awful. At New Years we paid for the late night party and it was total disappointment. There was a horribke schedule for everything, seating was cramped, poorly decorated and generally uncomfortable in every way. Staff tried to be helpful but could do nothing. Lights were fine but speakers and such were low quality and distorted so I’m not sure if the performers were good or not. Aside from horrible seatings, reeking dirty bathrooms with lights out. Even the mc was a windbag who didn’t understand his Desi audience, seemed like a western performer stuck into the wrong event simply because of his heritage. Food on its own was a travesty. Alcohol menu was clearly picked by someone who doesn’t drink for the express purpose of making money from people who never drink either. When the food was served it was a neasly seven dishes, luke warm, sitting poorly in the stomach and seemed as if it was cooked hours before it was actuakly served. Speaking of when it was served, we were invited in and seated close to two hours before food and then entertainment began more than an hour after most people finished eating. However note was the rude, crass, and arrogant door woman. Perhaps something set her into a bad mood at the start of the night but she was callous, uppity about so much as a step outside the banquet hall. You would be better off hiring a fresh 16 year old and they would perform better as the door keep. This was the same person who managed tickets and such so naturally even entering the hall was unnecessarily difficult because of a lack of signage and system to handle the ticket distribution. 0⁄10 would not dine here or host a party for any occassion. Waste of my time and money

This banquet Hall is older than their new Convention Centre which opened up not too long ago, I have been to other Chandni banquet halls for couple of wedding and other events and this one is old but is in a decent condition. The light and and chandlers style are older style and elegant. Nothing too exciting in the hall ways and the food was served inside the hall. The food was decent, I have had better.

Ok so if you ever have to go to Chandni and you try to search for it on gps, don’t. There are three of them. We went to the wrong one filled with a much younger crowd. After I strolled in and started snapping pictures two police officers asked if I was a parent or teacher. I was a little confused and told by the kind officers we were at a grade 8 prom. Turns out the one we were supposed to be at was just down the street. So this one was much smaller than the other Chandni that was having the prom. It was probably suitable for 200 person or less weddings, with your typical bar on the side and dance floor in the middle. The snacks were very tasty and kept us full before the real food came out, which was also good. The mango lassi was very refreshing since it was such a hot day and I was wearing a thick suit. I think I drank 10 or so.

Gorgeous venue to play around with. Lots of room to add your own touch with décor and style. The place easily seats 200+ people. The parking lot has plenty of room. Bathrooms get messy quick and no staff was available for a while. There wasn’t any organization so it was difficult to navigate for tea, restroom, food. The meals were catered in, buffet style. The hall staff are very zoned out and most of them don’t speak English very well. This became difficult overtime. There was no refills of water, napkins etc. You pay for the space mass. Everything else, you bring with you. Myeh. xoxo M.
