Decided to check out Slickers after dinner based on the reviews. Have to say the reviews are right. The Campfire ice cream is just like roasted marshmallows but with the savory ice cream included!
Slickers have done a great job of making some very good ice cream. The only item holding it back from a 5 is that the store is very small making it crowded with more than 3 people in the store. The other is that it is a strict cash only.
If you want good ice cream after dinner in Prince Edward county, go to Slickers.

My last trip to PEC included two visits to Slickers just to try out the different flavours of these great quality ice creams. Campfire (burnt marshmallow) is a favourite of mine.

Hot damn! This joint near Sandbanks serves up the best Ice Cream I’ve EVER had! If you’re a fan of ice cream — you need to go. And if you’re not, get prepared to be converted. One of my friends even suggested we go back to get some of this for breakfast. Their ice cream is home made, smooth, and really tickles the taste buds.
If you’re a group and want to share or just want to grab some for home get the 1L tub for $ 12. You can even ask them to pack 3 different flavours in it if you can’t make up your mind. They are Cash only so make sure you got some hard moolah on you. Depending on what you like as a person, you may not like certain flavours. Their service is amazing in that they let you try whichever ones you want before choosing. The staff was so patient with our party of 5 and we got something everyone enjoyed.

Campfire (Toasted marshmallow) amazed me because how do you manage to make ice cream taste burnt? Even more miraculously, how do you get it to taste burnt in a good way?
Pralines and cream was okay for me but I was never a fan so that’s probably why. Everyone else enjoyed it.
Coffee Toffee was one my absolute favourites
It’s a very small place on the inside. When 5 of us went in, we took up all of the space in there. However, there’s plenty of seating outside though to enjoy the amazing weather while eating up some delicious ice cream.

Family loves coming here. So many good flavours you can’t go wrong. Many flavours change daily. The burnt marshmallow (Campfire) is a real standout. A great little business.

Was here with friends two weeks ago, was absolutely yummy. Campfire marshmallow my favourite. Now if they could bring it to BC.

This is a review for the take home tubs. I got a few of them. At $ 12/​litre, I would expect the tub to be at least 80% filled. Look at the picture. It’s just over half filled. That’s just lazy. I understand it’s not easy to scoop the ice cream and fill it but don’t make it an option, if you’re not going to fill the tub.
Was SUCH a huge fan of this place until now. I just paid $ 50 for maybe 2L of ice cream. That’s just such a huge rip off.

Cute little ice cream shop. It’s very small inside, but has lots of chairs and benches outside. The flavours are pretty out there. Peanut butter and honey for example. I had never seen that before. Jazz berry. I picked campfire; roasted marshmallows. It was okay. I wouldn’t order it again though. My boyfriend got raspberry which was really good. It came to $ 8 and change for 2 ice cream cones, one scoop each. Pricy I thought.

This tiny ice cream joint is a MUST when visiting Bloomfield! All their ice cream is homemade with natural ingredients and the quality is evident in the taste. Their most popular flavours are their burnt marshmallow (forgot the name), apple pie, and rhubarb ginger. The apple pie is my favourite, with pieces of cinnamon-​y apple and pie crust. There is no indoor seating, but there are a few Muskoka chairs and picnic tables just outside. It’s on the Main St., close to some shops and restaurants.

Best ice cream I’ve ever had so far. Jazzberry + mint chocolate = perfection. The staff is also very friendly and the interior is pretty beautiful.

The ice cream here is of high quality and so rich and smooth. I even enjoy their Rhubarb flavour and I don’t even like rhubarb!
After tasting a handful, I decided on the rhubarb-​ginger which has real ginger bits inside!
The area in the front which has some muskoka chairs set up is just perfect place and setting to enjoy some ice cream.

We were visiting the vineyards and dropped by slickers because it was part of the taste trail and had good reviews.
A waffle cone with two ice cream scoops were almost 8 $.
Tried their «most popular» flavours — apple pie and campfire. Apple pie was just ok. Campfire tasted like the name… tasted like ashes. Had to throw the ice cream out. It was apalling.
Tastes bad and expensive. What is all the fuss about?!

Quite possibly the best ice cream I’ve had in recent memory. Huge selection of unique home made flavors that were all fantastic. Apple pie, roasted marshmallow are two standouts… Truly amazing.
Go out of your way to visit this place.

Rhubarb and ginger ice cream is just the best!!!
I love it so much, I wish I lived near here so I could get it more often.

Slickers Ice Cream — Add Rhubarb-​Ginger, Blueberry and Limetart to the mix as a must try
This is a family business with the absolute focus on real ice cream with real ingredients served by real people.
One thing I totally missed was that they also do milkshakes. After my fill of ice cream my take home purchase will be used for just that.

lots of outdoor Adirondack chairs for seating or better yet take a stroll around the corner and check out the local shops…

Who wouldn’t love homemade ice cream?
Slickers has been well-​known for years, so it’s no surprise that it’s a favourite in Bloomfield. Heck, I’d drive over from Picton just for the ice cream! (Of course Bloomfield has lots of other charming locations as well).
Try campfire: it tastes as it sounds. On this visit I enjoyed the Chocolate mint chip, which is a nice twist on mint choco chip — all chocolate ice cream with mint flavoring and choco chunks.
Don’t miss this if you are in PEC.

If you want to feel like a kid in an ice cream shop in Bloomfield, Slickers is the place to be!
On the way to the Sandbanks, we made a quick stop to check out Main Street in Bloomfield. We saw a giant sign with a picture of ice cream and we couldn’t resist!
This small but popular spot had a lineup out the door!
They serve up homemade artisan ice cream will all natural ingredients.
We stepped inside maneuvering through a waiting group excited customers.
The rotating list of flavours is posted on a blackboard at the back of the store.
The flavours that caught my eye were the lemon chiffon and the apple pie.
Next time I’m going to have to try this Campfire ice cream that is so popular.
I went with a small cup of Apple Pie ice cream for $ 3.65.
The small size is a generous scoop!
As for the ice cream…
OMG, it was so creamy and delicious, velvety with with bits of pie crust.
We took our ice cream outside where they have patio chairs.
I chatted with a few other visitors from out of town and devoured my ice cream in about two minutes flat.
Next time I come back, I’m hitting up Slickers again — for a double scoop of ice cream!
