Your standard ice cream stand on the Bedford Highway. The ice cream is good, your standard store-bought variety(Scotsburn). I have to admit I’ve been a bit spoiled by places like the Marble Slab that make their own ice cream and offer unique flavours I can’t necessarily get anywhere else(what’s happened to me? I’ve become an ice cream snob!). However, if you happen to be in the Bedford area on a hot summer’s day, and craving a little something sweet to cool yourself down, this place could be just the ticket. The staff have been friendly whenever I’ve gone; I’ve never had a complaint about the service. Prices are decent, also.

I give Pinky’s a four star because it uses Scottsburn Ice-Cream and this ice-cream has some of the best flavours going. One of my favourites is the chocolate, peanut butter crunch. What is not to like about that. Pinky’s is this little Pink and White stand you will find along the side of the road in Bedford. It is just down from the fire station. I stopped by here the other day on the way home. A friendly young guy served me. I really do like the ice-cream, a double scoop is 4.00 and single 2.00. The ice-cream was delicious, I opted for a regular cone. I give them a Three Star because the cone ended up being stale. This does not sit well, when you are wanting to enjoy the whole ice-cream experience. I am not sure if it was because it was raining a little that day or what. Really there is not an excuse in my books, that is your job. Do not serve stale cones. They do have other things you can get as well, mild shakes etc.
