Our restaurant focuses on food quality and freshness. Also our sashimi fishes are from overseas. We have over 200 items (Japanese and Chinese) for all you can eat! Besides the A La Carte is also popular such as bento boxes, chef special rolls and our Chinese dishes.

History

Established in 2015.

«Sakana» means fish in Japanese. Fish meaning good fortune, abundance and perseverance in Japan. That was why we named our restaurant Sakana House.

Excellent food selection and the food is very fresh and tasty. Probably the best AYCE sushi place I’ve been too in a long time. Their dim sum is tasty, takes 15 minutes to steam though so if you want some order when you get in. Their soup broths are very flavourful. I find usually at other places the broths are flavourless, but here it’s home made and delicious. Sushi was well made and tasted fresh, I don’t have one complaint about the food. Service can be a bit slow at times, but staff is very friendly.
It’s about 22.99 $ per adult Monday to Friday for dinner. Weekends it’s a few dollars more. It’s worth the extra dollars for this good food!

The all you can eat menu is a bit more pricey than usual all you can eat sushi but the menu diversity make up for it in my opinion. It is by far our favorite restaurant in Barrie as the parents does love sushi and our children can have all the chicken, soup, tempura then can eat at the same time. The desert selection is also impressive for an all you can eat. The food is good, fresh and we continue to try new items each time as the portion are small enough to allow us to try any items.

Sushi is fresh and better portion than Akira and Diamond. Better service and prompt take out. Ordered out the combo dinners and felt value was excellent ($ 12.95) teriyaki chicken, sushi, tempura and maki rolls. Had friends order sushi boats for party’s and they were a hit! Again, it was fresh and tasty, well dressed for serving. Will definitely be back!

I think I’m being a bit too nice. First time was a late night dinner celebration, so everything was good, second time around was disappointing, third time we decided take out, the order took way too long & it ended up wrong that we had to wait even longer to get the right order. Ugh this could’ve been perfect considering its walking distance to our house
