Freedom is located in a lovely home setting in the beautiful and peaceful Aurora-King City area, just north of Toronto, Canada’s socio-economic hub. Freedom’s superb, decorate, peaceful, warm, and beautiful 25-bed 6,000 square foot building and premises come complete with the best for our clients. This includes a fully furnished gym, beds, own personal spaces, a detox centre, superb team of amazing people, beautiful tranquil meeting space, workspaces, cozy meeting rooms, a dining room, and complete with entertainment areas.
History
Established in 2012.
With a team of combined 300 years in their fields, and innovators on methadone detox and counselling approaches, Freedom’s founders saw the need within the GTA and Ontario.
Meet the Manager
Mandy S.
Manager
With nearly a decade of experience in private drug recovery centre management, Mandy oversees Freedom’s operations and its respected programmes. A respected leader in psychotherapy, Mandy has overseen various drug and addiction recovery centres throughout the GTA. Mandy is trained and experience in recovery program development and delivery, with a deep knowledge of drug addiction and treatment and methodology. Mandy has appeared on television broadcasts discussing drug and substance abuse and addiction, and is a leading advocate for changes to provincial public policy. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Mandy possesses an honours bachelor degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of East London, and Psychotherapist (R.I.H.R), earned diploma in Spiritual Psychotherapy at the Transformational Arts College. She is recognized as a professional Registered in Human Relations (R.I.H.R.) by the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners.
