This Metro store should be the standard by which all others are trained to achieve.
I am regularly in the area of 4 Metro stores between Whitby and Scarborough. Although this location is the closest to where I live I don’t pass by it as often. After several bad experiences at the other locations, the only time I will shop at this chain will be by making the extra effort to drive here.
This store is well laid out, always stocked and well presented. The produce is fresh and care taken to place in the displays not to damage it.
Of all the best department’s characteristics the one that stands above all others is the butcher shop. The staff aren’t just skilled tradespeople, they truly care and go out of their way to prepare anything you want to you specifications.
All staff at this location are mature (even the teenagers), genuinely friendly and helpful.
