Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed in my hair cut. I had a senior stylist and she hardly took any time to get to know my routine or anything about my hair. I showed her multiple photographs from different angles and said I wanted it to be grazing my shoulders and longer in the front. I got the complete opposite. Not only is it shorter in the front face pieces it’s also an inch shorter overall than what I wanted. One side has way more layers than the other because she decided to make up the most crooked part when she was cutting and now it’s completely uneven all over.
The only reason I am giving more than one star is because the salon itself was nice and it was a pleasant atmosphere. However, the mirrors were angled towards the ceiling and I couldn’t even see myself in it so I was getting my hair cut without being able to even see what she was doing.
I went home from my hair cut and cried for an hour while trying to style it to my liking with no avail. I can’t even look at myself in the mirror because I hate my hair so much.

Had been looking for a local salon and when found this one that I’d driven by rated so highly on Unilocal,thought I would give it a try. Was nice to see many of the staff had been there long-​term and was able to book my appointment online! Heather went through a thorough consultation with me to understand my hair and what works best for me. She did an amazing job and told me if it didn’t fall right when I started to wear it different ways to come back in to see her and she’d fix it up. I had to do that once I wore my hair curly and she took me in right away, fixed it up within minutes and I was on my way! Great service and skill! I will definitely be going back and telling others to go here as well.

Took me on at very short notice (half an hour) and I was thoroughly pleased with my experience! Everyone at the salon was so friendly and welcoming. The salon itself is in a convenient location and the little boutique in the front is adorable, there were so many cute things!
Can’t remember my stylists name but she did a great job. Did exactly what I asked her to do! I will definitely return again in the future.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Not just the best salon in Ajax — I drive all the way from downtown Toronto every time! Laurel is an amazing colourist, making it look so natural every time. I’ve been seeing Laurel for almost 15 years! Carolyn is a fantastic stylist, she has no problem dealing with my whacky, sometimes curly-​sometimes frizzy hair. And if you want your hair curled, Heather is a master with the flat iron.
The salon atmosphere is sort of chic-​country style and they sell some really cute jewelry and gift ideas. They are simply the BEST at what they do and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
