Finnegans = best bar in town. Great service. Great food. Order the Ribs best ever. Ignore the crybabies with the bad reviews. Some people live to complain. Finnegans always great.

Went September 24th2015 for happy hour. I seen all the bad reviews but thought I would check this place out after leaving the Tradex RV Show. I found that the waitresses couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly? The beer was a bargain and ice cold! Tried the bbq ribs that were on special, wow what a treat! They were very tender and lean, also very large portion! Next time I’m out this way, Finnegan’s will be my go to place for food and refreshments! Guess you can’t always believe what you read!

Okay I usually don’t give names, and I can’t really this time either but a guy who works there last name Espesito? I heard that he was an owner? Guy is rude and treats customer like he is above them. Will not, Would not come back. But if your going Food is okay, and the décor and washrooms are above average After reading all the other posts, I would advise to boycott so they have to sell. This place has the potential to be an awesome place to go, maybe the best in Abbotsford, it’s obviously horribly mismanaged. Time for new blood!

Had the steak sandwich. Steak was bland and chewy. Did not even ask how we wanted the steak cooked like it stated in the menue. The Focaccia bread was dry and tasteless. Service was slow. Even though it was pretty empty in the place tonight. Disappointed to say the least. For pub food it was terrible. Would not go back again or recommend it to anyone of my friends.

Standard pub fare — okay selection and okay taste. For game night it’s a good place to go as they have plenty of tv’s and it’s usually packed. However, I’ve found the servers tend to ignore the ladies at the table and seem to have a scowl on. I understand working with a pub crowd can be challenging at times, but neither I nor the company I’m with have been rude. I’ve found this to be the case on several occasions. Last time I ordered a pitcher of cocktails so my girlfriends and I didn’t have to wait so long for service between drinks and it was ¾ full of ice. Not impressed with that.

We called and reserved a 16-person dinner party weeks in advance, explicitly telling them that this was a Christmas dinner and we would be going to the adjacent venue for a Christmas concert that started at 7:00. We all arrived at or before 5:00 and 1 ½-hours after placing our orders, we received our entrees. Half of the orders had stone-cold sides, we had to rush to finish our meal, and we walked into the performance after it had started. During our 1 ½ wait the waitress was very slow with drink orders, sometimes forgetting them all together. On top of this, the restaurant did not even appear to be busy. Overall not a great experience. Also, the front door staff were incredibly arrogant. The ONLY saving grace was the close proximity to the venue that the concert was held.

HUGE bar, beside the arena and the campus I guess it needs to be big on sport nights, I went for lunch, opens at 11:30 and I was one of about 20 people there for lunch. Had the fish and chips, option of 1, 2,3, 4 pieces struck me as odd, usually 1 or 2 offered. I ordered the 2 with chips they came out and unlike the usual large pieces of fish these were the size of chicken fingers. Taste was ok, breading not too thick but nothing I couldn’t get lots of other places for cheaper. Chips looked hand made, skin on and varied in size but just didn’t taste as good as they looked. Might be a hopping place for a beer before the game or to watch the many TV’s just nothing special for lunch

Corona’s only $ 2.99 every day! Standard pub fare. Great place to hang out in Abby. Looking forward to trying the patio on the weekend when it warms up.

Our waitress could definitely be more welcoming! As soon as my husband and his friend ordered Pepsi her attitude went down. She won’t even look at me even though I’m the speaker for the group as the two of them are hard of hearing in one ear!!! We had the schnitzel burger and it was pretty tiny for our expectation of pub food. We had the rock crab dip and that was really good. They forgot we subbed yam fries for the regular fries, so we had both, the yam fries are good I had them before! The décor is very nice, still clean.

Great service, a decent selection of beers, and good food. Now if they could only find a bartender capable of pouring a proper pint…

It was pretty decent. It’s definitely one of Abbotsford’s better establishments. I’d go back there for sure.
