Pho’enix Diner

FYI they accept most credit cards/​debit and cash. Very unassuming place. They have Shaw Wifi cool. I don’t know what kind of fusion place this is but it’s got a little bit of everything offered in their menu from Vietnamese to western cuisine to Chinese. I’m trying their Phoenix house special Vermicelli bowl which has chicken or Pork or beef with pork patties (spam) and all kinds of veggies and vermicelli of course. I got my order and OMG. I totally underestimated the size and portion. The picture in the menu doesn’t do it justice. First off, it’s loaded with all those things I mentioned but also nice big shrimp and spring rolls which are ok. A bit overcooked. But the bowl overall has lots of flavour. I asked for an extra helping of the fish/​vinegar sauce that it comes with. No charge. It really added to the dish. I am gonna come back for sure and try their other dishes. Now the reason I gave them three stars is because I’m not sure yet about the overall experience. It’s just one of those things that you have to experience a few more times. If I could I would say 3.5 stars. Come by and don’t be afraid to try something new. Btw, while I was here a party of 6 Asian seniors came in and sat down to order and that reassures me that this place must be ok. Come on in.

The Phở here is DELICIOUS, the broth has a deep rich flavour which I love! This is my favourite place in town. It is family run and very welcoming! They serve a great variety of food here, so if your with someone who doesn’t like Vietnamese food you guys can both get what you want at this diner.
