Kappa & Kanashiro

Fui ao Kappa para um almoço de trabalho e acredito que a vibe do retaurante seja essa mesmo, de um ambiente para almoços de trabalho ou negócios.
O atendimento de maneira geral foi mito educado e sem falhas. Geralmente é difícil ir em um japonês e não ter problemas com o pedido, mas lá foi tudo tranquilo e muito bem feito.
A comida é maravilhosa, recomendo fortemente os pratos macerados e sushis trufados, pra imi foram os melhores. Mas também tem os de atum com limão que são muito bem executados.
Quanto ao preço, não é o mais barato, mas tbm não é dos mais caros. como disse era almoço de negócio e me dei bem nessa de não ter que pagar a conta rsrs.

Esse teoricamente é meu restaurante japonês preferido em São Paulo, mas a minha última visita foi super decepcionante.
Não é um lugar barato, o menu degustação (rodízio) é R$ 86,00 por pessoa e eu achava que super valia a pena.
Minha última visita foi em um domingo a noite com uma amiga, o restaurante tinha todas as mesas cheias, mas não tinha fila de espera. O serviço estava super confuso e aflito, tudo demorando muito para vir, o maitre parecia não se importar muito com a situação geral e só um garçom parecia estar preocupado e indo em todas as mesas justificar os atrasos.
A comida de lá costumava ser super fina — sushis muito bem elaborados e delicados, mas dessa vezes estavam um tanto mal feitos, parecendo que tinham sido feitos as pressas.
Nos dias normais eu gosto de lá porque a cada prato que chega o garçom explica o conceito, o que vem e porque o chef fez daquele jeito.
Quero voltar lá de novo e provar que estou errada.

An all you can eat sushi restaurant that doesn’t make you sick? Yep, they actually exist in SP and are quite popular. «Rodizio de sushi» can be found at cheaper and more expensive places than this, but I think Kappa and Kanashiro is great value for money. The dishes are usually creative and well presented throughout multiple rounds of food. Don’t be afraid to turn certain items down and ask for more of others. It’s not a buffet but rather a series of different courses that they bring to your table, and it’s easy to get distracted by the many little portions of tasty fried bits that they bring in the beginning, but keep your eye on the prize, as the sushi here is really quite good (and forgiving a bit of rice here and avoiding the mayonnaise there, actually quite healthy). The place has a hip and fun décor great for both lunch and dinner. There’s usually a fairly young crowd in the evenings compared to some stuffier sushi spots in Itaim. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area and super hungry. Arrive early if you’re with a larger group, as occasionally there’s a wait despite the large size of the place (it wasn’t obvious to me that there is a second level of seating at my first visit).

The unlimited sushi/​sashimi lunch menu is a great deal in the Itaim Bibi neighborhood. Will be back !

The sushi is great!
It works as a rodizio, where the waiters walk around the place with trays of sushi, some of them very good. The flamed sushi is the best!
