Food was very, very generic. But how would I know if I actually liked their food or not, I couldn’t even get anything I wanted on the menu and ended up ordering something from what they did have. Seriously, I tried to order three different choices before they actually had something I wanted! I cannot believe that on the third item when I asked«so, then do you have [this 3rd item]?» the waitress responded with, «yes, of course!» Of course my ass. And it’s not even what I wanted to eat, it was just something to eat. If you don’t keep a regular stock of items listed on your not particularly lengthy menu of mostly SANDWICHES then don’t advertise it!!! The somewhat hilarious thing is that what drew me in was false advertising. They had a card on all the tables that said«various soups» and when I asked«so what kind of soups do you have?» «Tomato.» «Anything besides tomato?» «No.» Geesh. If I had been here at the end of the day, ok then, but this was the middle of lunchtime on a weekend day… Lastly, the drinks. They use a generic button push machine for coffee but the prices suggest they actually pull their own espresso. Ordered a water instead — it was a 33cl plastic grocery store bottle and they charged 2,40 euros for it. … My guess as to how this place stays in business? IT’S A TOURISTTRAP. AVOID at all costs. Such a sad affair, the rest of Antwerp and my experiences were lovely.
