As it goes with anything this place has not been spared of the typical decay. As prices went up and up, quality also did but in reverse… then it seemed like they got rid of the«handcut» fries and halfdosed the salad which gave the extra touch to the full option plate. As a regular it saddens me to see this place go downhill. Get the original fries back and handtoss those burgers again.

Do not go here if you’re a foreigner in Belgium, their burger is a disaster, far from what you would expect. Wrong bun, dry meat, too big … Bad service, child unfriendly, always too busy, overhyped. Belgian gastronomy has much more to offer so please go to one of those other places! Anywerp has much better places to go to!

This place is crazy popular, and pretty good. **We kind of had to hustle to get a table, they were busy when we arrived but maybe only half so when we left, so don’t let them tell you they’re «fully booked this evening», it’s not necessarily true. **The burgers were pretty good, clearly fresh ground meat, but only mediocre cooking and seasoning. **Fries were of the American«Steak Fries» variety, rather than the superior Belgian/Flemish cut. **De Koninck Bolleke’s on draft(my idea of heaven), the Westmalle Tripel was also«van ‘t vat». **There are 3 Antwerp-area locations and unfortunately for us we chose the one WITHOUT the indoor playground … But the surrounding area of Berchem has the most unbelievable collection of Art Nouveau mansions, even my 5-year-old thought the walk through there was worth it.
