The sushi-​bar and noodlebar are both located on the same adress, but they are separated.
Tasty noodles, excellent banana katsu. They also serve a good ramen. I recommend it. I will go there again…

Not bad. the katsu curry is really good but I think the noodles does not really come close to the real thing… I haven’t been able to try other Japanese restaurants here in Antwerp though (have however tried a few really Authentic and good ones in Brussels) plus this place is right across the street from where I live so I am happy :)

Its a really nice restaurant to casually eat something. I had the curry with the chicken and the included side salad. It was very, very filling and super yummy, it seems to be one of the most popular dishes there. My mom had the wagamama ramen. We are japanese and it was nothing like japanese ramen but she liked it anyways. One waitress seemed really unhappy… But the other waiter was super friendly and helped us pick out the dishes. There were a couple of big families with loud children but it was a good atmosphere. The prices are pretty high… But you get what you get in a ‘trendy’, more popular restaurant! I would go back there.

Even though you can be turned off by the big chain aspect of the place, I was pretty surprised by the quality of the menu offering a real selection of Japanese food and not only Sushis!!! And very affordable as well!

Wagamama ist eine Restaurantkette mit japanischem/​asiatischen Essen aus UK, kannte diese schon von dort. Gibt es leider nicht in Deutschland. Zufällig in Antwerpen entdeckt und direkt besucht.
Man sitzt an langen Tischen, eher ungezwungen. Nix für einen romatischen Abend oder ein hochgestochenes Business Essen. Lokal hat eine offene Küche dies riecht man auch nach dem Besuch an seiner Kleidung.
Essen war sehr lecker, (wie ich es auch aus UK kannte) gut gewürzt und sehr schmackhaft.
Der Service war bei meinem Besuch, leider sehr unaufmerksam und wirkte auf mich irgendwie verpeilt –dadurch ist Wagamama einiges an Getränkeumsatz entgangen.
Deswegen gebe ich einen Punktabzug.
Beim nächsten Mal, komme ich wieder.(hoffentlich ist dann der Service etwas besser)
