We were a party of four and arrived around 7.30PM. The place was already full so the host suggested we could start by having a drink at the bar, they would call us when our table was ready. When we got to the bar we asked the bartender if we could order some drinks. He told us to wait because he was busy. He barely acknowledged our presence. He continued to do what he was doing without ever looking our way. We waited for quite a while and still no reaction. Later on another person came behind the bar so we asked him to take our order but he replied we had to order from his colleague. The people there were very unprofessional. this is not how you greet guest. We had to complain and insist on getting our orders, the whole situation was very unpleasant. Finally the bartender took our order, no smile, we really felt as if we were disturbing him. When finally we were called to our table, I noticed that they had put clean paper on a dirty table… The rings of the drinks were still visible, there was even a small piece of lettuce left from the former diners. For the rest the place looked nice and up to date. Most of us ordered classic burgers that were ok, no wow effect though. The fries were a little cold and not so great. I might go back if I am hungry and happen to be around, but it will definitely not be my first choice of restaurant.

Chouette ambiance, burger bon sans plus. Service sympa mais un peu lent. La prochaine fois on essayera en face chez Ellis

Tasteless meat — enough said for a burger joint. But to top it all: rude and slow service, below average fries and unseasoned watery salad. Given the prices, this place just is a shame.

What a noisy place, what a mess. Hamburgers are ok but not something to write home about. The onion rings are superb and so is the salad that comes with the hamburger. Hamburger buns are sad and the rest is just ok. If you feel like hamburger just go to Ellis across burgerij :)

I love Burgerij! It was really busy the last time we were here, we had a little wait until our server acknowledged us. When we received our food, the wait was forgotten! Great quality taste! I had the smoky bacon!!!

As an American abroad, I am very picky about hamburgers! I had always heard good things about Burgerij and was curious to try it out. The atmosphere is very cosy with optional outdoor seating. I decided to try the Dolce Vita burger, 100% beef patty, Provolone, tomato, rucola, pancetta, grilled vegetables, and basil mayonnaise. My husband went for the burger of the month — the Deer Hunter, 100% deer patty, with smoked duck, lettuce, Belgian endive, fresh peer, cranberry jam with red wine sauce, and homemade honey mayonnaise. Both burgers were very good and we’ll definitely consider coming back, but the best hamburgers I’ve ever had are in the USA.

Burgers a good, I tried the salmon and wasabi burger and was not disappointed. Wide range of burgers, good for a quick lunch or a snack before hitting town. The style of the restaurant is nice, a bit of design meets Berlin. Overall good food and great location. Try to combine with a visit to the MAS museum right next door.

To surprise my girlfriend I took her and her best friends to de burgerij, I called in advance but I couldn’t make reservations for groups smaller than 12, we’d have to just be lucky to be seated or have a couple drinks at the bar first. So we decided, what the hell, let’s take a chance because we heard so much about the burgerij. We arrived, indeed had a couple drinks at the bar, and in no time we were seated. We ordered and I went for the deer hunter special, god that was a burger! The meat was perfect medium rare, the buttery bun toasted just right, it tasted really good! We had a couple Belgian beers, burgers and we wanted cheesecake and brownies for dessert but since they were out of cheesecake we’d just have to get brownies. No big issue here, the place was booming so it’s logical that some things run out. We payed 165 euros for 6 persons including tip, so that’s not even 30 bucks for a great meal, beers and a lovely night out, not bad, not bad at all!

Fantastic location, great food, what else could you ask for? Even a friend who normally don’t like burgers told me to give the place 4.5 stars because he liked it so much. I had the Samurai Burger, wonderfully cooked salmon with wasabi mayo and wakame(!) on top. Delicious!

For a european place, this one has real good burgers, even in very stylish forms like the habibi which is lamb, feta cheese and hummus. The fries are great and the burgers come with a side salad served in a leaf of lettuce instead of a regular bowl. Prices are fair and they also have a nice selection of drinks and desserts. Noise level is pretty high so dont plan on serious conversations. Kids can spend their time in a play area which makes it a very family friendly place.

Holy wow! My wife claimed the goat cheese salad was the best salad she has ever eaten in her entire life. And she has eaten a lot of salads. I had the kipburger which was massive. Apparently you need cutlery to enjoy it, and did I enjoy it! Four thumbs up for De Burgerij!

I spotted this place from atop the MAS and decided I had to try it. And although my friend and I told ourselves we’d go in with low expectations for a European burger joint, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and I can’t believe how quickly our food came. I ordered the Dolce Vita which was an Italian type burger with panchetta and zucchini on it. I also ordered the full meal which came with salad and fries. The fries were«eh» not your normal Belgian quality. The salad was good and they used a lettuce leaf as the bowl for the rest of the salad. The burger(the reason we came!) was pretty good. The meat was average at best, but what they’ve done with the additions totally makes up for it. We sat outside, but the interior was very trendy and nice. Overall, this place is a solid place for«Burgers voor Burgers»
