The store in the airport seems to be relatively new. It is decent enough, if you desperately need your espresso before your flight, but it is different from other Starbucks stores because there is no seating provided and since the store is placed in one tiny corner of the huge Terminal C there is no way how you could actually enjoy your cup of coffee. You order it, drink it fast and go. Also their baristas could work on their attitude!

No matter where you go a Bux is a Bux and this one in the airport is no different. Sure the pastries might change a little based on the area but that’s part of the fun of being in an airport. Expect long lines, a smile, and a hot drink waiting for you.

Typisch Flughafen: nicht so angenehm, aber halt eine letzte Gelegenheit noch kurz vor dem Abflug einen ordentlichen Kaffee zu trinken, die man sich auch gut bezahlen lässt. Schließlich ist da alles um ein Eck teurer als in den Starbucksläden in der Stadt.
Ich bin schon da gewesen und habe mir gedacht, dass die Crew möglicherweise bekifft ist, weil sie permanent nur gekichert hat. Vielleicht ist es aber auch nur angeordnete Fröhlichkeit. Egal, eilig darf man es nicht haben.

Chai Tea Latte before flight. Gibt nicht viel zu sagen. Ein typischer Starbucks direkt beim Terminal C. Finde es recht angenehm, wenn man noch ein bisschen Zeit vor dem Abflug hat hier noch gemütlich zu sitzen anstelle am eher ungemütlichen Gate nebenan.
Kleiner Tipp: Das Mineralwasser in den Plastikflaschen ist hier billiger als im Automaten (falls man eines in den Flieger mitnehmen will).

Starbucks is like McDonald’s. No matter what part of the globe you are on, it all tastes the same. Even in Vienna, the epicenter of Café Culture, this Starbucks delivered a latte and their version of an Egg McMuffin, that was no different that what I’ve had in San Francisco, Lloydminster, Melbourne or NYC. Thanks to the Euro & airport location, the Vienna Starbucks cost was 2X what you would pay at SeaTac. All in all, a very ordinary experience.

Hier wird mit 1,50 € für einen Espresso-​Macchiato an der Bar geworben. Ich dachte, Superpreis und dann hat mich halb der Schlag getroffen — ein Fingerhut von Kaffee!!! — und nicht einmal gut, dafür sind sogar 1,50 € zu viel.
Ein Krapfen, der alt war und so trocken, dass es einem bei den Ohren raus staubt, auf gut Österreichisch — und das für 2,10 €.
Ein Kellner, der der Touristin vor mir sagt, er akzeptiert keine Kreditkarte, nur Bares und dann als sie zahlt, sie blöde angrinst und sagt, so ist es richtig, genau so — Leute gehen nur hin, weil sonst nichts frei ist, aber sicher nicht mehr lange, wenn jeder Gast so mies behandelt wird — hier muss sich eindeutig etwas ändern!!!
