A very cool little place on a quiet little street. I had the Office Stack for breakfast and it was amazing! Flavours were delicious. Prices very reasonable. One of the best hot chocolates I have had in a while and coffees were great too. Staff were very friendly.

The Office on Harrogate is a small bar & café that has been receiving some attention on social media, mainly thanks to an interesting new menu. It’s located in a mostly commercial area just off of Cambridge Street, and not far from the well established café-trinity of Tracks, Hylin & Aliment. You have to pay for parking on the street, even at 8am on a Saturday when there isn’t a soul to be seen. Coffee is from Five Senses, and was rather good this morning. No sugar in sight, but thankfully it wasn’t needed. I already knew what I was going to try — the«slow cooked morning ribs» with soft boiled eggs & sourdough($ 24). I wasn’t quite sure what this would actually be, but was expecting something a little more breakfast-ified than a slightly-undercooked soft boiled egg(singular) sat in a piece of bread. I’ve seen photos that clearly show«eggs» so I’m not sure why I only got one. The serving of beef ribs was very generous, but at $ 24 that’s to be expected. The tomato sauce was really rich and tasty, however the meat on the ribs was very tough and hard to eat. It might have been easier if I’d been eating the ribs with my fingers, but that’s not really how I want to eat meat at 8am. Disappointing. Renay chose the«Office Stack»($ 19) with potato rosti, poached egg, bacon, spinach, avocado & hollandaise. There was plenty on the plate — three potato rosti most definitely make a «stack» — and the rest of the ingredients were all of good quality and well cooked, including the poached egg. So a bit of a mixed bag for breakfast, unfortunately. I’m still curious to try the savoury fondue and tiramisu French toast, although there are plenty of other places on our list to try — and more we’re keen to return to — first.

Less than 2 minutes walk from home, I just had to check this place out. Was surprised that it was so quiet on a Friday but it was early! So I ordered a Negroni and some chunky onion rings and sat it out for a while. What a cool little place! Hidden right in the guts of West Leederville’s business district, this handy little gem will most certainly be getting frequented by yours truly!

Great small bar for day time catch ups in West Leederville. I have been here several times for work drinks and lunch with colleagues in the last month and am always happy with the service and food. The chicken burger comes with a light and crispy sesame seed bun — which definitely sets it apart from other burgers! The perfect balance of burger to bun ratio is made even better with the fresh avocado, cranberry, and brie.

So disappointed in the evenings here. In my first review I wrote that they were waiting for a bar license and I was really excited. I’ve been here a few times now for drinks and the service has been below par. Recently went there on a saturday night with friends and it was only the 3 of us. When my friend went to get a second round of drinks she was told we only have 30 mins because they were closing at 9:30 cause it had been a really slow day. Shortly after the footy game finished quite a few people rocked up and started ordering drinks. We decide since it was a little busier we would order another round. When I went to the bar I was surprised to be told«ok.you can order more drinks, but you only have 10 – 15 mins.» I would have thought that they would have pushed the closing time a little later as the bar was now semi full, there was at least a good 20 – 25 people in there. And the crowd from the footy looked like they were ready to kick off their sat night. I have to say she did give us an extra 20 mins. But we knew it was time to leave when the music was turned off, the lights were turned up blindingly bright, they started shutting the doors and the waitress came to our table asking«done yet? Cause I want to start the dish washer and i need your glasses» …WOW! Did that seriously just happen?! The service was rude and very rushed. Very disappointing! I wonder if management is aware this is happening.

How this place eluded me for the 7 months I’ve been working nearby I will never be able to explain. However, it’s never too late to fall in love! I had a panini this morning that took my breath away and now I have the«this is how bacon is supposed to be» song stuck in my head! Caramelised onions, egg, bacon, some form of delicious cheese #omnomnom goodbye breakfast cereals hello Harrogate!

A new addition to West Leederville. This café is already very popular with office workers close by. The fit-out is nice, I particularly like all the teal coloured crockery and the antique cash register. I spent one morning working from The Office, so I got to see all the delicious baked goods(cooked in-house) and adorable mini bacon and egg rolls adorn the counter. They looked so good I couldn’t help but get a coconut and berry muffin, even though I had already had breakfast — it was served warm, presented beautifully and very scrumptious. Around midday I waited with anticipation for their lunch menu to be written up on the wall menu. They had a great range of rustic salads, and the Winter Vegetable one I tried was pretty good. Only downside was that is was really cold in the café, even with my winter coat on.

I knew I was onto a winner when I recognised the lady heading up the kitchen is from Voyage in Sorrento. You can expect the same wholesome and modern food that doesn’t rely on fatty crap for bravado. Fresh and lean; an excellent lighter lunch option for West Leedy office workers. Actually, I’m kinda jealous I don’t work within radius! Snazzy salads, toasted paninis, lamb wraps, seasonal soups… Might all sound a little ‘standard’ but you’d be way off. Everything is done with a little more attention to detail here like; serving fresh squeezed juices in mason jars and making sure every quesadilla that leaves that kitchen has a spritely garnish of greens and house made chutney. Coffee is 5 senses and the gentlemen serving it up are super fine.
