I’m house-sitting at the moment and my girlfriend who is living it up skiing in Sauzi, Italy, has left me in charge of her two cats, Wanda and Lewis. They’re a charming duo. Wanda loves a chat and sits at the base of the bed meowing till the wee hours of the morning(not realising that I’m already asleep). Lewis has got a bit of a bung-eye so I’m never really sure if he’s looking at me and wanting my attention, or angry at me. Anyway, I was going away for a couple of days and so needed someone to look after the moggies. Since my friend had close contact with Wanneroo Veterinary Hospital, it was suggested I leave the cats in their care. I only had to give feeding instructions once, ditto with medication instructions, and voila — the cats were whisked away and promised to be well looked after in my absence. Upon returning, I collected the kitties and got some great feedback, mostly from Wanda(she didn’t stop meowing all the way from Wanneroo to the city). Lewis kept giving me weird death stares, but I’m not sure if that’s because I left him in someone else’s care for a couple of days; or if he wanted to stay back there at the Wanneroo Vet; or indeed if it was just his bung-eye playing up again. Anyway, I know whenever I actually own a pet of my own, I’m going to seriously consider Wanneroo Vets for their care and wellbeing.
