This is a popular spot in Traralgon — a Spanish tapas place that serves a wide assortment of dishes, including standard mains such as paella. When you first walk in, you’re greeted by the coffee and patisserie area, which is light and pleasantly decorated, and is a small area. Walking further in, you hit the one main dining room, which is large and functional. Staff were friendly and attentive, although one of the waiters kept trying to take the dishes away whilst our last friend was trying to eat his dinner still! We started with a tapas dish made of small chunks of potato in a aioli sauce that was slightly tangy and very delicious. For the main, we opted for the Paella Valencia for two(you can order for one person, for 2, or for 4 – 6, depending on the size of dish you want). The paella was decent and fairly standard, and included one crab each, several prawns, as well as smaller bits of chorizo, chicken and squid. The risotto was a bit tough on a few bites, but overall cooked acceptably. Another friend had a crispy chicken main that looked rather delicious, and she enjoyed it. She and our other friend also tried tapas of pork belly and a fried meatball dish and they reported both were good. Portions were generous, although some on other sites have complained of the portions reducing with prices going up, so I’m unsure if that’s true or not. We still walked out very full! Overall a good solid choice for this area, and I will check out the coffee some morning!
