You know what you’re going to get when you visit a Coffee Club, generic café food and usually a good coffee. However I found that the Coffee Club in Upper Mount Gravatt isn’t the best of the Coffee Club’s that I’ve had the chance to dine in. The service was quick for a busy period, however I felt they were aiming for quantity over quality. All the coffee’s were colder than expected and lacked the rich flavour that coffee-lovers crave. They were presented extremely well, but presentation is no substitute for genuine taste. While I enjoyed my meal, it wasn’t the quality I would expect from a $ 15 sandwich with a side of chips. Tasty, yes; but I felt I could have made the same meal at home for a fraction of the cost.
