I love this place. My dad proclaims that the only thing he is allergic to in life is instant coffee and I think it is hereditary. I like my coffee strong but not burnt; tasty but not overwhelming. These guys nail it. Every. Time. What more can you ask from a coffee shop? What makes this place even better is that the guys who work here are lovely AND they remember my name. Everyone wants to go somewhere where they know your name :) If you are in this end of the city, be sure to swing by to experience their extensive menu.

This was love at first sight. I walked past it and within two seconds I was in the door and great but the most friendly staff I have ever met. Had a quick glance at what there was to eat and nearly couldn’t decide. I choose the Egg, Avocado and Salmon sandwich & a cup of minty marrakesh tea. When I got give the tea it was served on a wooden board with it own personal glass mini teapot and glass tea cup this was perfect and how tea should be served and drunk. Now the only disappointment about this place was the lack of good seating the main table was a short knee high table which felt uncomfortable which made waiting and eating terrible but that only if your eating having a cup of tea was fine for it. Finally the sandwich came, it was a deconstructed sandwich with a salad. This tasted amazing flavor busted in every mouthful, it was well worth the time and money for it. The last thing I did before leaving was to grab a cheeky Lindt chocolate tart… If you mouth isn’t watering you clearly don’t know good food. First bite your in heaven. The café is very new and they change there menu regular according to seasons. Staff know there teas, coffees and foods well. This is how ever small café should be. Beautiful!

The Q on Harris is in a corner shop front that is well lit with natural light, making for a lovely spot to get a coffee or a quite bite. Their menu is simple, but full of tasty things. And after your coffee, swing into the Powerhouse Museum while you are in the area and check out the latest exhibition.
