I got the BBQ pork noodle bowl. Had no BBQ flavor but it was good anyway. It’s a huge bowl that’s really filling and only $ 8 – 10. Also it took about 5 min after ordering to get. It’s also cash only.

I always drop by whenever I am around the area. The prices are reasonable and the food are quite tasty. My favourite dish is the spring rolls with rice noodles. I occasionally pay more to get the grilled pork cutlets with the noodle, but the tiny amount of pork cutlets always leave me wanting more. The shop has pretty basic deco, not unlike Thai places around Newtown(but this place is Vietnamese). They don’t have lunch specials but the prices are quite competitive with eateries around the area and it’s usually packed during lunch hours by students. You can get your own hot tea by the side of the counter and service is pretty much chinatown standards.

In its most literal meaning. $ 8 for a bowl of Phở, cash only. Beef phở noodle is good, consistency is a bit random and sometimes salty but if you’re craving Phở, it’s a quick fix. They also have rice paper rolls for $ 5 which is a bargain and then your rice dishes and vermicelli bowls. You’re here for food, not ambience. They do have free filtered water and hot tea.

A big bowl of beef noodles and soup, a plate of rice paper spring-rolls with sriracha sauce makes a balmy evening perfect. Generous bowls of noodles are approximately AUDS$ 10, side dishes of spring-rolls etc are about AUD$ 5. Service is very friendly and FAST. Place is clean. Pictures of what’s available is on the wall so you can easily point at what you like. Drinks(sodas in cans) are in a standing fridge, just pick what you want and they’ll add it to your bill. Iced water or hot chinese tea is available, free. Fast and hearty rice noodle soup, no wonder this place is so popular.
