Groth & Sons is a Sydney based company focused on bespoke cabinet making and interior architecture, creating interiors of integrity. A small team of craftsmen as enthusiastic as they are skilled, the cabinet makers with a difference, will transform any space with their multi-​disciplined approach, through the process of creative thinking, strategic planning and meticulous implementation. Whether your design project is large or small; a one-​off piece of custom cabinetry, an entire library fit-​out or a complete home makeover it will be carried out with precision, passion and aplomb. The principal of Groth & Sons, Amos Groth, has extensive experience in the cabinet making and design industries, and as a result has the unique ability to combine wide-​ranging technical skills with in depth hands-​on experience in providing clients with high quality, value adding, design solutions.

Business Owner

Amos Groth, impassioned cabinet maker and interior designer by day, rugby coach, cricket coach and fervent sabre fencer by night, whatever the role he takes on you can be assured it will be implemented with vim and vigor.

From the UK originally, Amos began his vocation in the construction industry specializing in restoration carpentry and joinery. A vigorous education in building construction, a pragmatic understanding of architectural heritage and building project management offered him a distinct advantage upon entering the field of interior design.

He immigrated to Australia in 1987, prior to this, worked in North East England, London, Boston, San Francisco and Chicago. Completing his ADV. DIP Interior design at the Design Centre Enmore he went on to guest lecture and teach at the prestigious design institute. A life-​long devotion to acquiring knowledge, expertise and quite simply the passion to design and construct lead him to his latest venture that is Groth & Sons.
