I first discovered this business through one of those group-​buying voucher deals. I’m glad I did as I’ve been very happy with the staff and service. The salon has a relaxed vibe and as it also operates as a learning institute (for would-​be beauticians), there is usually some training happening at the nail stations. As a note they’re usually looking for test-​dummies for various therapies (if you’re feeling brave). I get treated by Nat who does IPL therapy on my face for me. This involves being blindfolded (to avoid the bright light), having cold gel smeared all over your skin, then having laser flashes that are warm and not painful, but slightly uncomfortable. Believe me, you want to know you’re in good hands when you’re bereft of the gift of sight and with someone wielding a «laser» next to your head. In a nutshell — it’s not just nails!
