Found this place when I typed San Jose in the name of place instead of location lol. was very conveniently located at the bus laneway in Vineyard :) A friend of mine is here in Sydney for 5 days and that’s her hometown so it was fun to have a quick breakfast at this bakery before hopping on the bus to spit bridge :). I had 2 hashbrowns, spinach & egg Quiche and a banana muffin :). The hash browns were nothing crash hot but were only $ 1, the Quiche was cold but so delicous: D and the banana muffin was super tasty aswell :)!! Will definately be coming back to try their meat pies, if they are as good as the muffin or the Quiche it will be a simple 5 stars from me !! I cane back, got myself a meat and curry pie, $ 2.80 pies and they so soft and fluffy lol !! Haven’t had a pie like this ages. P. S. no sauce required ! !

MEATPIESARE $ 2.80. Ahem. Sorry. Got excited. But you see, meat pies are just $ 2.80. That’s the second cheapest pie in Sydney in my experience(behind Terry’s Hot Bread at Redfern). And the pies are soft-pastry, gravy-filled delicious. Then there’s the croissants. I think they’re around the $ 1.60 mark, and they’re buttery up the wazoo, with none of that awful crispiness on top that I so despise in my French baked goods. You know, I didn’t think I missed anything about working in the city, but I do. I miss San Jose. (How can they be so cheap? HOW?)
