My experience here was so good that I am eager for my next trip to Sydney just to return. The therapist was able to loosen my perpetually tense neck and shoulders and also gave me a few tips on how to stretch the affected muscles. I was lucky to get a last minute appointment, but if they have space, they take walk-ins. It was a proper massage and they do take health insurance if your plan covers it. They also ensure that you have a wet towel to wash off residual oil, meaning that you don’t need to immediately head home for a shower and change of clothes.

I was down to one arm when I called these guys. The tight knot in my shoulder I’d woken up with had grown into a blazing sun of pain that threatened to engulf the entire multiverse. But sometimes a schmick and professional-looking website and phone operator doesn’t always equate to the same in service. There were a few stuff-ups — couldn’t get me a masseuse for another hour, then had to wait when I did get there for one to run down from their George St store. The massage was good — I just told them to go to town on the knot, like do whatever it takes — and holy crap this lady gave me seven hells, and I don’t know what happened, maybe her hands had buckled after all that punishment, but she tagged out another woman for the last 15mins. Maybe she had another appointment? The knot is kinda still there so they didn’t really get it out, but they tried their best. They accept health fund insurance too so that’s a big plus.

Everyone needs a massage every now and then. I stumbled across this place when I was searching for remedial massage providers offered by my private health insurance(why not use it if it’s covered?). ‘ I made an appointment at 11am on a Saturday and as i was a few minutes early, I could not get into the building as the masseur was not in, so she could not buzz me into the building but she got there pretty quick. The shop itself is pretty small, with four private rooms and a tiny reception area. She offered me some water while I filled up the form. Ok, now to the important part: the massage It was AWESOME. Per the masseur, remedial massage is like deep tissue massage, so unlike swedish massage, there is more health benefits. Unlike a lot of massage places where each area is separated by a thin cloth/curtain, there is more privacy in an actual room. The background music is relaxing(a little too loud). She asked for my problematic areas and focused on untying those stubborn knots. After an hour, I definitely felt light and refreshed(slept really well that night too!). I ended up paying only $ 18 as my PI covered 80% of it($ 88 for an hour), but honestly, even if i have to pay full price, it was worth every penny. Needless to say, I am definitely coming back in a few months. Cant wait !

Michelle is amazing! This place is hard to find,(I used the lift on George Street to the first level), but well worth it! Michelle gave me one of the best massages of my life. At first I was a little worried because I like a really strong massage, but she kept checking in with me and she really hurt me in the best way. You won’t waste your money if you go to this place.

Short visit to Sydney and I found some time to get a massage, so, of course I turned to Unilocal!for a good recommendation. Wise move. I found this place and was randomly scheduled Anna O. Lucky turn. What followed was an hour of pain that accompanies an amazing massage — one where you feel as if you have done a full work out and been hit by a run away stage coach but you feel amazing(about 2 days later). Highly recommended + + +

Experience the ancient wonder of Chinese Medicine at massage world Sydney. All aspects of well being can be addressed through this therapy. I came across this amazing practioner trying my luck with a non-surgical face lift. And would you believe it? It worked! So not only have I been back for more but I have bought 5 deluxe face lifts(1.5 hrs) up front for $ 500 cash making use of a fantastic offer valid for 6 mths. The sculpt and lift facial therapy involves a cleansing Jade stone that is rubbed along your facial bone structure and pressure points in a relaxing repetitive motion. There is also some lymphatic drainage which is a bit uncomfortable but It leaves your skin tight and glowing. Winnie is also able to grind up remedies of Chinese Herbs and pack them into convenient capsules for ingestion. Prepare yourself to be balanced and back in the mode after an acupuncture session with this pressure point whiz. If you are looking for a therapist who truly cares about her clients and enjoys imparting her quiet wisdom then go and see Winnie. She is located in 2 convenient locations and accepts most health funds.
