Get Threaded

I was visiting from California and in desperate need of a brow and lip threading. Waxing makes my skin swell and rash up. I asked for a threading location and was referred to Get Threaded – what an unexpected find and a real treat!
It was a bit different than the US and actually I felt a bit more hygienic. I would totally recommend this for anyone traveling and perhaps those living in Sydney.

They upped their prices… but I can’t say I’ve even been anything less than happy with the results

$ 20 to get your eyebrows cleaned up seems expensive, but I have no idea what the standard is in Sydney.
It’s appointment only… Seems like a bad idea. I got there at 12:30 and had to make an appointment for 2:00… Fine for me… Just had drinks up the street to kill time… But while I was getting my eyebrows threaded, at two separate times, people came in wanting to get their eyebrows done but unable to wait around the area for that long. Wasn’t really busy or anything.
The lady who threaded my eyebrows did a fantastic job. ⁵⁄₅ for that. And it wasn’t uncomfortable or even slightly painful… Maybe can thank the boozy 1.5 hour wait for that.
Even though its expensive and the appointment-​only thing is annoying, I’d probably go back here again because of the quality of work they do.

Got my eyebrows threaded here today. Very professional and hygienic. A little on the pricey side with $ 20 for just a neat-​job, but worth the quality of work.

People who walk past this tiny, neon pink shop must wonder what voodoo is going on here. Ladies (and men!) lie back in cushy black chairs and a immaculately groomed woman comes at their face with a tangle of string threaded between their two hands and their mouth. Craziness. But it works soooo well!
My first threading experience at another hidden away venue left me with blisters and redness above my brows. I swore to never get my eyebrows threaded again but thankfully I went back on my word and found these guys. This shop is definitely not hidden away but perhaps that’s what raises the bar and ensure they’re hygienic and do a good job. They’ll measure and check before starting, work quickly but accurately and will even do your brow make up at the end. Gorgeous eyebrows every time!
Everyone walking by will know you’re not born with naturally lush eyebrows, but if you don’t mind being a bit of an exhibitionist, listen to the shop — get threaded.
