We now have a Membership in excess of 30,000 with assets of more than $ 1 billion under management. History

Established in 1955.

A group of staff from one of Australia’s largest banks saw the need for a co-​operative Loans Society, the original office comprised a briefcase and a receipt book.

In 1959 we became C.B.O.A Credit Union Co-​operative Ltd before evolving into Gateway Credit Union Ltd on 1 July 1998.
