Very good. We came here based on just one Unilocal review and now, we can provide the second. The food was excellent, we had breakfasts. One omellette and one the Bistro Stack. I was happy to hear i could keep the Rocket off… dont like that stuff. We were glad to find the free WiFi — a big plus for travelers and, that was one the reasons we came.
Only bad thing — people smoking up top… yuck. But, we sat down below and avoided the smoke.

A short stroll from Wynyard Station, this brilliant café offers an experience, not just a delicious, freshly prepared meal. It has a distinct Melbourne feel, a masterfully executed menu, and service second to none.
I’m yet to come in for lunch but you’ll often find me here enjoying brunch. I adore their omelettes, in particular the chorizo one– steaming chunks of chorizo sausage, grilled zucchini, mushrooms and crème fraiche, clandestinely embedded in a beautiful, fluffy omelette and seasoned to perfection. I am aways able to read my newspaper in peace but never feel forgotten by the cheerful waitress.
The outdoor seating area is covered so even on rainy days, you can enjoy a glass of house red or a creamy, gourmet cappuccino (Danes coffee) and people watch in comfort.
I will definitely be coming back here for lunch-​saw lamb cutlets and sweet potato purée with red wine jus that have my name on it.
