Yes, it’s small — but who cares when the coffee is fantastic. $ 2.50 for a regular FW that is strong without being too bitter. Fast service too.

Arras Too. Because Arras one is a restaurant. «Too» obviously used to be where the kitchenhand washed up. It’s not really a hole in a wall so much as a cupboard. I went in here thinking there’d be an actual shop but it’s literally a coffee machine, a bench, two people and a register. Capacity in this place is 2. Yes 2, that’s not a typo, and maybe that’s the whole point of their name, because 2 peeps is all that gets in. Ultra exclusive. So, to recap, that’s 2 people to stand and order. Even then it’s awkward. As my fellow customer and I exchanged glances and shuffling movements in order to order(yes I just said that) I felt like I was back in kindergarten on my very first day — the cute shy kid looking for new friends… But I digress. I couldn’t even tell you what the place looked like, it’s so tiny. If you lived in a studio and had a kitchenette with a Nespresso on the bench, you’d be Arras 3D! Handing out glasses so your bench and hallway looks as expansive as the denizen of Smaug(minus the loot of course!) The service was fast, the people were friendly enough if a little awkward, and the coffee was OK(they use Allpress but they don’t make it sing like Utopia do). Would I go here again? Probably only if I was actually on this street walking past the shop and desperately wanted a coffee. If you blink you’ll miss it — and if you missed it, you wouldn’t be missing anything.
