They say the better the Thai food the worse the service… And really if the food is good, I normally couldn’t care less how the service is! But here it is bad, and the food isn’t good enough to make up for it. If you’re eating with somebody, their(or your) meal may come out 15 minutes after the other. Even a drink that you ordered can come out towards the end of your meal, or not at all. My hot milo(which I ordered because it was so bloody cold in the restaurant!) was burnt, with milk skin on it. They have signs everywhere saying«pay at your table» and get annoyed if you pay at the front — but you can wait there all day and try and get their attention, and they won’t bring the bill. The Thai restaurant district around Goulburn St and Pitt St has the best Thai restaurants in Sydney. No, they’re not the best for service, but they get the basics right and the food is excellent! It’s just not worth coming here ever, I’ve made the mistake a few too many times now.

We stumbled upon this place while walking through Sydney and it looked so good that we had to stop in. The atmosphere itself is so cool! It was a little loud in there but it was a cool place to eat. They have a ton of food options which all look good & authentic. I am a vegetarian and there weren’t many veggie options but I had vegetables and rice which were a little greasy but good. The veggies were really crisp and fresh. I’m new to Thai food and I really liked this place! It’s a good spot for newbies like me and people who already know and love Thai food. Great spot!

This was a great little find while trying to find some food after 10pm on a Sunday! The placed was packed and all the food looked fresh and was quick to come out. I ordered the Tom yum soup and was asked if I could handle heat by the waitress. the soup was bang on, right on the borderline where good hot meets bad hot and the favour was perfect. A great place to try.

Very authentic and delicious Thai street food. There are many dishes that Home Thai does not have. Price is the same with it. I really love Lard Nar, beef boat and papaya salad. Beef boat is definitely better than Yok Yor. This is a newer restaurant so the service is more friendly and pays attention to customers.
