No complaints here. Free wifi, delicious Sammy(Rueben) and a tailored Caesar Salad. Sorry no pics but trust and believe it was good. Comfy interior with option to sit outside. Friendly, fast service — what more can one want?

Great food, great coffee and the staff is extremely polite… well everyone in Sydney is polite(I’m from NY). I suggest getting the Cheese & Herb conbread w/chorizo and scrambled eggs.

Been here three times in the last seven days since being in Sydney on business. Gotta say, I like it a lot. They have great musli and great coffee. Super chill staff that are fun to chat with.

This place is consistently good with coffee, food and service. The down side is that too many people know this! It’s a cozy place with a good vibe! Definitely a must do breakfast essential!

Excellent coffee, and delicious fare, with a wide array of breakfast offerings that are above the usual menu choices in this neighbourhood. Staff are refreshingly friendly and helpful, even remembering our coffee preferences after just one visit — a rare and very welcome change from surly attitude that often greets you in the cafes of inner Sydney. Highly recommended.

Great coffee! Probably one of the best in the area. Good service and a really lovely menu. Modern Australian with lots of breakfast favourites and some other stuff I haven’t seen before. The salmon, asparagus and eggs is my favourite. Really great quiet area in such a bustling part of the city. Good vibe and ambience.

Quaint café complete with a few small tables and stools in the pedestrian strip enclosed with a cute picket fence barrier. Flicking through the menu there was definitely an extensive brekkie menu that I am keen on coming back to try, but today I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday after brunch coffee. Perfectly frothed milk with a delicate smoothness. Cheery, smiley service adds a nice touch too the entire experience!

13.03.31 I’m sitting at a table in Mr Mo, an inner city café, musing about life and doodling images of coffee and hot crossed buns. It’s Easter you see. I tipped on Unilocal that the atmosphere on this Easter afternoon in this little inner city café is «quiet, friendly». «Quiet» not in the sense of a deafening or dismal rejection by city patrons but a comfortable and sincere invitation to sit, eat and chat. «Friendly» too, without the pasted«patronising» welcome so common in most Surry Hills cafes, but with a genuine care for patronage(especially from the Asian barista) that is immediately appealing. This café was previously occupied by a «funky» inner city clothing store that couldn’t attract enough patronage to survive the mercantile harshness of Surry Hills. Lets hope that«Quiet, friendly» is quite right for this little café. The café is brightly lit, it’s décor subtly urban without being facile and the coffee decent. Finally, if you don’t like the prevalence or thrust of copycat Englishness(faux leather, faux vintage, con-fused food and hammer heavy jazz/alternative music) in our cafes, then this café escapes those qualities enough to be an alternative.

This is a relatively new establishment in a hyper competitive café zone. I’ve mainly had only coffee from here which is Lavazza and above average if you aren’t bothered by their bean of choice. The food menu is still pretty limited, I think it would benefit from some retro items. The service is friendly and you could easily believe this is because they own the place. But a nice clean place when you dont feel like being rammed by hipsters or surly staff. Check it out.

One of the best Bacon and Egg rolls I’ve had in Sydney(and I’ve had a fair share of Bacon and Egg rolls). Cute little spot. Friendly service.

Went for lunch with a couple of friends. Thought there would be more lunch /salad options, but the breakfast is where it’s at. So many things to try, so will have to go back. My smashed egg & ham toasted sandwich was delicious, as was the smoothie. My friends said their coffee was amazing. Definitely going back.

I don’t know. I was torn on this review. I think it can be tough to rate a place if you’ve only been once when they first open. We wanted to try this place for brunch so went a couple weeks back to try it out. Our brunch was nice and they were really friendly here. Too friendly… as in «we just opened level of friendly» perhaps. I think we were asked 3+ times if we liked our food, etc. SO in the end, yes of course I’d rather experience this than rude customer service but I’d want to come back a few more times to get a better feel for this café, ya know? Seemed like a lot of options for brunch. I had the mushrooms, roasted tomato & poached egg for $ 12.90. Mine was A-OK, but lots more to still try here. I have high hopes for you Mr Mo!
