Deep fried Camembert, Coq Au Vin and jäger schnitzel was the order of the day for the Indian and I. Lashings of Stiegel finished with a cheeky Bouchard Cote de Rhone — so… For a quick meal that overwhelmed us and filled us completely, incredible value and awesome fast service. Go here. It’s normal and great and friendly! And you get gummy bears when you pay us bill. Cash only.

Great service and a focus on very simple food(schnitzel and sausages) made this a winner for us on a rainy Wednesday night. I wanted to check out something closeby in Surry Hills and used Unilocal to find it. They managed to fit us in the back, even though there were eight of us, and food was fast to appear. The waitress was happy even though she was dealing with a full house. Unisex toilets made it a challenge with other patrons, but it was a very friendly atmosphere. Happy to recommend this for a future visit! By the way, the schnitzels are huge.

Ohhhhh yum… the schnitzels. It’s all about the schnitzels here. I would even be daring to say it’s one of my favourites in Sydney. I’m not really claiming to be an expert in schnitzels, but seriously it’s pretty magical. I love the Jäger Schnitzel(creamy sauce with mushrooms) but my friends also rate the Romany(spicy tomato based sauce). Portions are huge and are served with rosti and cabbage. If you’re with a group go for the deep fried camembert, just so you can try a piece. Otherwise, you probably don’t need any starters or sides. Lovely staff and great outdoor seating out the back on a sunny day. Go forth and eat schnitzels!
