Excellent beach side live cooking experience!
This is such a fun place to stop by if you’re roaming surfers paradise looking for a tasty meal! The teriyaki was excellent and the chef has some cool skills.
Highly recommended if you want something beyond the average surfers dining pleasures!

The food isn’t bad. I enjoyed everything that I ordered except my udon noodle soup. It wasn’t very flavourful and it wasn’t hot.
The staff were nice and they cooked and delivered our food promptly. They did however have trouble with the order they brought things out, some entrees, then some mains, then some entrees.
Unfortunately, due to no fault of their own, there is no table service outside due to problem dine and dashers. Their problem is that unless you’re eating teppanyaki style or at the sushi train (which wasn’t operating when we visited — not sure why) there is nowhere else to sit indoors and you are forced to sit outside.
Also, they had no tuna. Kind of a sin for a sushi restaurant, wouldn’t you say?
I got an apple sake martini — probably the highlight of my meal. Decent price and tasted delicious.

This was a disappointment to say the least!!! Ordered normal sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy prawn) and I was shocked that the tuna was literally canned tuna… The rice seemed old. And I believe that to make it spicy the rolls were just coated in chili flakes. I’m not sure if this is normal in Australia but I was very unpleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a sushi meal.

Shit restaurant, when i walked pass it, it was saying half price till 4 o’clock or something. so i went in, the menus says 25 dollars, i thought it must be 12.5 dollars now. However it turns out there was a tiny little label on the menu says discounted price. This is cheat, is FRAUD! I ordered a beef with prawn, and a coke. it took a long time to serve but that’s fine by me. however the beef was overcooked and didn’t taste good at all.
after i finished the meal when i went back to Brisbane, me and one of my friend had a tummy upset. this symptom continued until noon next day.
