Cute little store in an up-and-coming suburb. We ordered a Moroccan beef and couscous filo, a spinach and cheese filo, a Lebanese lentil salad and a banana torte to share. All of it was good, although the banana torte had a tad too much frosting. Service was fast and friendly. The deli/grocery section of the store has a good selection of produce and packaged foods at surprisingly low prices. However, they need to check their fruit more thoroughly because I bought two punnets of strawberries from here and one of them had mould in it. Babow.

Now this is the kind of deli that every suburb needs. Congratulations Summer Hill, you’ve got a good one here. Furthermore, if you’re gluten intolerant and living in Summer Hill, then you’re really lucky, as this deli has a fantastic range of gluten free(gf) products. Some, but definitely not all, of these products are listed below: * The Pastry Pantry gf pastry sheets(sweet and savoury) * Zehnder gf breads * Healthy Feast gf pizza bases * Syndian gf and vegan products, including vege and lentil patties * Orgran gf products * Essential Ingredient wheat alternatives(meal, quinoa, etc.) Also, all the gluten free meats and cheeses are highlighted with green marks, making catering to your dietary needs simple. Others of their great brands and products include Mamma Rosa’s frozen pastas, DeliVer deli meats, Pukara Estate oils(and gift packs in time for Christmas), fresh Brasserie breads, Serendipity ice creams(both pre-packaged punnets and by the scoop) and dry pastas made from spelt and wholemeal flours. They’ve got heaps of deli meats and cheeses in their display fridges and are one of the few places I’ve found in Sydney to sell Raclette($ 39 per kilo). Now all I need is to find somewhere that sells Raclette grills… This deli doubles as a café and sells decent Schibello coffees for only $ 2 — probably the cheapest espresso you’ll get in Sydney.
