Had brunch here yesterday. Service was quick and friendly. Probably only waited 10−15mins tops for our food which was great! Ordered the«Smashed Avocado» as I love a good Smashed Avo. The avo was not smashed but sliced?! Maybe change the name to Sliced Avo? Honestly, wasn’t the best I’ve had — the hollandaise on top was a bit too much as well. Was a little disappointed conisdering how pretty the food all looked. Coffee tasted quite acidic too which I couldn’t drink much of. Boyfriend ordered the Pulled Pork Benedict and said it was good.

Walking down Hay street in Subi, its hard not to be sad about all the small cafes that are closing down left right and centre. Luckily for the people of Perth, this little gem is still there! Stimulatte is a small, but well run little café, with indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu is well thought out and has great options for the vegetarians and Gluten Free peeps. I had the mushrooms option, as i kinda love mushrooms and was not dissapointed. My coffee can in a takeaway cup which kinda sucked as i prefer a mug when sitting down for brekkie, but not to be too deterred by it, they know how to make some coffee! They have a great diverse menu for food and drinks alike. I also had a takeaway NY bagel, and was again not dissapointed, is was scumptious! Took me back to my NYC days !! Would recommend coming with a small group as tables fill up quick and there arent many. But well worth a visit to thia hipster joint!

Stimulate is my morning coffee go to in Subiaco. Service is quick and friendly and most importantly, the coffee is great. I’ve given in to temptation and bought a few of the pastries perched on the counter. They also do a loyalty service for coffee so it’s a win win situation!

Sometimes you live in a world where you go to work, walk to a café, drink a burnt capacinno(becuase your ‘need’ caffeine), walk back to the office because that’s what you do… Sometimes you find a café that can brew an amazing single origin espresso that rocks your world as both an uninitiated coffee drinker and a seasoned aficionado. Ryan and the crew make it happen… And to make it better the breakfast is amazing!

We headed to Subiaco early this bright spring morning for a quick breakfast at Stimulatte before heading to the Subi Farmers Market. There isn’t much space to sit inside, but thankfully the sun was shining so sitting outside was very pleasant. Stimulatte is located on Hay Street, just after the Santa Fe restaurant if you’re heading towards Rokeby Road. It’s also right next door to a funeral director, which must make for some somber but busy times… Coffee was from Five Senses, and my long mac was really good, not at all bitter and strong enough to wake me up. It was so good that I had a second. I chose the potato rosti with quinoa, chorizo and poached eggs($ 17.50), which is one of the gluten free options on the menu. The rosti was perfectly crunchy and well seasoned, although there just wasn’t enough of it to go with the perfectly poached eggs and generously thick hunks of chorizo. This was a really nice dish, although I felt that it needed double the amount of rosti or a piece of toast. Renay ordered the gigantic ricotta hotcake with oat crumble, fresh raspberries & strawberries and caramel double cream($ 17.50). This worked well as a dish, with the oat crumble adding a great crunch to the soft and fluffy hotcake although the caramel flavour in the cream could have been stronger. There were plenty of customers popping in and out of Stimulatte while we were there, and given the quality of the coffee that is no surprise. The food was good, if not amazing, but there’s an interesting selection of dishes to choose from so it’s certainly worth trying if you’re in the area.

Stimulatte stimulates all my senses! Ooh la la! Haha, just kidding! A pretty small café in Subiaco(Just take a turn down Hay St from Rokeby Rd after at Subiaco Hotel) but you can’t miss it though, the Stimulatte sign is pretty eye-catching. The owner is pretty friendly and offered some suggestions as we had a hard time choosing between the cakes, croissants and freshly-baked muffin. In the end, I settled for a Chocolate Banana Bread which was solid, tasty, filling and had lovely bits of thick chocolate embedded within. This is my only indulgence of the day and I love it. My partner ordered the Almond Croissant which was crispy and fluffy with delightful almond bits bursting with flavours upon each bite. p. s. we were not able to try the pasta which looks delicious and had even yummy names as they only opened at 5pm for dinner. Will be back someday!

Popped in a couple of times this week. Did well for coffee and customer service too. I also appreciated seeing the mornings muffins being prepared and put in the oven!

Stimulatte is a tiny bustling café within close proximity to Subiaco station. My friend and I were able to snag a table at around 9.50am but it rapidly got busier after that. She ordered the green eggs on Sam and I ordered the hearty mushrooms stack. Arrived rapidly and was delicioso. They don’t take bookings and I wouldn’t go there with a large group but love their menu.

I was very excited to go and try out their new breakfast menu after seeing some amazing photos on Instagram and I wasn’t disappointed. We got there early on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy which is good and the wait wasn’t too long for the food. I ordered the corn cakes with poached eggs and avocado and salsa and it was very nice. The eggs were poached well and all the ingredients were fresh. I also had a fresh apple juice which was lovely. My friend had the breakfast bowl which was presented beautifully with lots of individual ingredients but she said it was fairly bland unless you got all the ingredients on one spoonful! We didn’t try the coffee so I can’t attest to that, but I’ll be heading back again to try out some more menu items. The service was also friendly and it wasn’t too expensive, pretty on par with other brekky places. The only issue as usual with subi or the city is parking, but that’s not the cafes fault!

Had breakfast here this morning — it’s now open Saturdays! Haloumi, hummus, wilted spinach, poached eggs & rye toast completely my type of food and really delicious! Great coffee and I had a beetroot celery ginger juice which had a zing, perfect for waking me up. Breakfast for two with 2 juices and 2 coffees was $ 52, very good value! This was my second visit and I’ll be back.

I read about the sandwiches on offer at Stimulatté(can’t get over how much I love the name of this place) and had to try one. Needless to say, now I have to try them all. I didn’t take a photo of my Peri-Peri Wrap because I didn’t want to stop eating it! It was amazing. I got back to the office and wanted another one. I was time poor at lunch so took away and to my amazement(they were packed) I wasn’t waiting more than 5 minutes for a toasted wrap and a long black. The coffee here is excellent, I found myself pausing to take sips and enjoy it instead of just getting the caffeine into me as quickly as possible.

Cute and tiny little café in Subi, and now open on Saturday! Pumps out a great hot coffee(without burning it– hooray!!!), good service with a smile and quick. Inspite of it being always packed, they push out the coffee with little waiting time. Beans used are really good and obvious in the coffee product

There is something magical going on in that kitchen — I had the most perfect breakfast of poached eggs, haloumi cheese, avocado sprinkled in dukah spinach+ more. Everything was perfectly cooked and it left me wanting to lick every last morsel off the plate. Compliments to the chefs!

Great range of sandwiches and wraps but get in early to avoid disappointment. Often by 1:30pm all that’s left are some breakfast wraps I They do the best reuben sandwich I’ve come across in Perth. The chef makes his own pastrami and it is to die for.(Good pulled pork too) A heap of great breakfast options and a range of tasty salads are available. Usually a burger or soup on the daily specials menu along with a shake or juice. The muffins are ace. The brownies are phenomenal. Service always friendly. Can’t really fault this place, I just wish they were open on the weekend.

Awesome little café which Subi is severely lacking in my opinion. Always have great specials for lunch like soups and burgers. Also a nice variety of sandwiches on offer in their display cabinet and delicious rawsome treats — had the caramel slice the other day really good. My only gripe is that the Brekkie menu finishes at 12 — it’s too good I want it for lunch :) team really friendly and coffee a winner.

I drive past here often on the way to my breakfast local and it is always busy, so this morning I gave it a try. I ordered my standard breakfast — fruit toast and a long black — and was surprised that it came to over $ 16. I questioned the price and it turned out that she had put the coffee in twice… so not the cheapest breakfast in Subi but — better than $ 16! When my toast came it was three thick slices of delish fruit toast, filled with big chunks of fruit… yum! On the side was heaps of salted butter and a raspberry jam with whole fresh raspberries in it(a little rich for my taste, but beautiful!) My coffee unfortunately came out not as a long black as ordered, but a macchiato. They were good about it though and swapped it straight away. Turns out in the end I had paid a macchiato price for a long black… oh well. Overall it was a good experience and I can see why it is a popular little spot. I will go back.

This cute café wouldn’t look out of place in Williamsburg. Stripped back walls, mismatched second-hand furniture and low hanging large bulb light fittings — you get the picture. If it wasn’t located in Subi it would be full of hipsters. The lunch offerings looked great, with gourmet rolls, wraps and some biscuits and muffins thrown in for good measure. My only complaint is that I ordered a pot of tea and it only produced two espresso sized sups of tea, not even one normal sized cup. It’s probably my fault for ordering tea at a place that takes their coffee very seriously.

Stimulatte is a funky little café on Hay St in Subiaco. This is the kind of place I will go out of my way to get too. Being on busy one way end of Hay St means that sometimes you do have to park and walk. It has a great relaxed vibe. The service is great, friendly staff and quick with a coffee or a meal. The coffee is some of the best I have had in Perth and the quality is the same, regardless of what day or time. The food is also inexpensive and delicious. I had a full breakfast with eggs on toast with cripsy bacon and sauteed mushrooms. Large servings, real homemade fresh food. I will continue to visit when I can.
