I have a suspicion that Sun’s Kitchen is merely a take-​away adjunct of the Crystal Seafood Restaurant in Strathfield, but I cannot confirm this. On the one hand, I can see the restaurant through a back passageway of this shopfront. On the other hand, their Singapore noodles are completely different to those served in the restaurant. These use that yellow curry powder, the type of noodles that catch me unawares when I order them over the phone, only to have them arrive at my abode and disappoint me.
What I can confirm is that the dim sum and other gowgee dishes are as delicious as those sold in the maybe-​not-​affiliated restaurant, so if you’re pressed for time, stop in here. You can ferret them away to your car and eat them as the tasty food fogs up your windows. You’ll pause and wonder, «How did it all come to this?» before another delicious bite hits your tastebuds and all worries melt away. Or not.
