History

Established in 1993.

Crazy Roy’s is a SA owned and operated family business that has been servicing the state for 2 decades. From very humble beginnings (can it get any more humble than working out of your single garage and stacking frames to the ceiling in every bedroom?) to now running state of the art framing equipment including the flagship Valiani computerised mat board cutter — there is almost no job we cant do!

But that doesn’t mean we expect a premium price for our work… Quite the opposite in fact! Our high-​tech machinery means that we can do things that take other framers hours in a matter of minutes! So you can still have our premium service but at Crazy Roy’s Famous Discount Prices!

We are SA’s largest picture framing retailer and we demand the lowest prices from our suppliers… But unlike many of our competitors we pass the savings straight to you!

As the name suggests, Crazy Roy’s is owned and operated by Roy, with a little help from his family and staff of course. The business has become somewhat of an SA institution when it comes to discount framing, and these days if you see a mirror or a frame on someone’s wall, chances are it was bought from Crazy Roy’s.

Roy’s business plan is, and always has been very simple — «give the people good quality products, at prices that no one can even get close to» — and he has been doing just that for over 2 decades now.

Anyone who knows Roy, knows that there is nothing he wont do for his customers, but remember, its called Crazy Roy’s for a reason, and a little patience goes a long way with this gentle giant…
