I got hungry at 11pm and in Brisbane that is a problem because very few places are open late. I was reluctant to order from Domino’s, given my experience with their food in the United States, but it was my only option. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my pizza. I have since ordered two pies from this location, the Margarita (cherry tomatoes and fresh basil) and the spicy veggie trio (onions tomato and spinach with pepper flakes). They lightly cheese their pizzas (In the US they put on way too much cheese) and the tomato sauce was nicely zesty, but a little too sweet for my taste. Now their chicken wings were pretty horrible, the skin was soggy, not crispy at all. However, for $ 7 per pizza I think there will probably be several late night Domino’s snacks in my future and, surprisingly, I’m OK with that.
