An excellent café that we have walked past many times, but decided today to give it a try. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Friendly staff to greet and look after us even though it was the usual busy Friday lunchtime. Food was excellent, although my colleague thought that the shoestring chips were too oily. Can recommend and I’ll be back again in the future.

Fabulous breakfasts, a great menu and scrumptious specials. Love the coffee and staff are lovely. Always busy at the weekend a good sign of a popular place. Not open on Sunday’s.

One of my favourite cafes around Crows Nest and St Leonards! It’s the main place I keep on going back and back for lunch at. My most frequent pick is the pulled pork sandwich, with either fries or salad on the side. The fries are the extra thin ones, that I’m not always a fan of, but they go just right with the sandwiches. Alternatively, check out the specials listed on the wall, of which there’s usually a large number. I’ve had a few different salads, and they’ve all been excellent — fresh, a wide variety of ingredients, and filling enough for lunch. The juices are also great. If you haven’t made a booking for lunch, head here on the early side, as it fills up quickly(especially as the longer tables often have group bookings from the surrounding businesses). DOGTIP: There’s a few table just outside, with dogs welcome and a bowl of water provided.

Popped in for lunch with a friend a few months ago, very busy with the business crowd(as it always seems to be) but snagged a table outside. Totally delicious, I had the chicken and tarragon with lemon sandwich which came with fries — very filling and tasty. Friendly staff, good service, not being a coffee drinker I can’t comment on the coffees but my friend seemed happy.

I really like this place… even more than the Moody Chef, which is just around the corner. The food is of consistently excellent quality, the setting is pleasant, and the waitstaff are very nice.

I have been here twice now when I’ve had to run work errands etc. This place is located at the bottom of a building sort of like a pop up store, however, they do have indoor and outdoor seating. The first thing that caught my eye was a sign for smoothies! I love smoothies! I believe it was their breakfast smoothie with banana, blueberries, oats, honey and milk that got me! And by golly was it delicious. They also have ready made salads on offer, such as Caesar, Roast beef with cous cous and Tandoori chicken(i cant remember the other ones) with sandwiches as well. Great place to get a freshly made smoothie!

St Leonards does not have a lot to offer for really nice lunches at affordable prices. The area is dominated by a few cafes that rake in a lot of business but over charge for what they deliver. This is a breath of fresh air and MUST be checked out if you are over the bridge. I ate the Ocean Trout for $ 16 you can’t pass it up. Many other options on the plates around me during lunch looked amazing. Reccomended and I will be returning.
