Inkr is a sneaky little café — There’s plenty of other brilliant options in the surrounding streets, but I always end up back here for a coffee on the go. It’s right near my work, so I’m a little bias for a good go-to takeaway, but they’ve sealed the deal with their exceptionally friendly service. There’s other places nearby that I’ve been to regularly but never feel like a regular, whereas Inkr are so good for this. They do an excellent brekky deal which is this superbly yum egg + pancetta brioche bun(so oily and cheesy and delicious) with a coffee for some reasonable amount(a bit under $ 10 I think!) Haven’t had lunch here yet, but the bosses recently ordered food from them for a board meeting so it can’t be bad! Worth dropping by. No attitude, nice coffee, good service.

Came here for lunch and was very pleased with the meal and service. My colleague and I both had a slider sized sandwich and side salad then a muffin for dessert. The mini sandwich was small but tasty and the muffin is what I’ll go back for! They have fresh baked goods in the glass case that all looked spectacular. We only have 30 minutes for lunch so we felt a bit rushed but all in all, I’d go back for café type lunch! Oh jeez, now I’m thinking about those muffins…

Not really sure what it is about Inkr7 — every time I go, I really enjoy it… but I always seem to forget it exists. Go figure. At any rate, it’s clear this issue has far more to do with my lousy memory than it does the calibre of the café. If we’re talking adequacy of coffee, it’s generally pretty good. The bigger issue is the lack of consistency in said quality. In terms of breakfast and lunch dishes though… ohhhhhhh yeah. As a diagnosed«glutard»(I can’t eat gluten, it has the unpleasant effect of causing me to break out in hives /lose chunks of hair /throw up /etc.) this place is just the right combination of tasty and thoughtful. Your buddies that can eat anything won’t notice you’re somewhere that is GF friendly and you won’t feel like a leper when you ask. My favourite dish is the«toast with the most» — toast topped with cannellini bean dip, herbed ricotta, ham, basil oil, fresh tomato and avocado, plus a slice of lemon for good measure. So much deliciousness in one dish. Perhaps most notably of all however, is the fact that the Inkr7 team make their own chai wet mix(leaves, spices and honey) which they not only use here, but also retail to a number of other cafes and health food stores. Visiting Inkr7 you can get yours fresh from the source for about $ 17 for 250g(you use 1 — 2 teaspoon /cup). Ugh… I only ate here this morning and I’m already wanting to go back.
