I actually don’t mind lagerfield, there is nothing outstanding about the place no, but there is also nothing wrong with it either. It is a central meeting place that is not actually in the middle of crown itself, most people know it and well it is just easy. I come here quite often to meet groups of friends are always have such a good night, the drinks are reasonable($ 10 for a pint of cider is standard now days) the atmosphere can vary depending on the night, very suits based after work but I honestly don’t mind that. They have some pretty cool cocktail specials at any given time, the food is so so, but if you are going there to eat I think you are slightly confused and should check yourself. It is a drinks based pub, not somewhere you expect good food. Sure grab a few nibbles to soak up the alcohol if you need but other than that, go elsewhere. All in all a good place to catch up with friends, have a drink and a laugh.

Lager field at crown; attractor of all things detestable, ghastly, gross, uncouth, uncivilized and vile. Thus a place that is generally disreputable on every principle. Lager field place however, shall take the cake for combining the very most unattractive of elements and cramming them all into one venue. Horrible beer list. check. Horrible drinks selection. check. Crass venue. Check. Daggy titles on the drinks menu. Gross sports bar. Check. I could go on… It also takes the cake for having the most douche-bags in the one venue. But not \only this, the most variety of douche-bags. It’s all very crass, uncivilized, brash, and extremely loud. Its like a upmarket dive bar that got lost in translation. How, on any level this place appeals to anyone, remains unsolved. I cannot see a single element that would make me want to be here. I don’t know what lager field has going for it, nor what people see in it. I’m mystified, as it really reeks of desperation on all levels and pathetic try hard attempts at entertainment. It’s just lowest common denominator in a cheap night out. Too noisy, loud and crowded with people who have spent too much time at crown. Some subtly here in turning down the bogan element as well as the cheap filler list wouldn’t go astray. Perhaps a visit during the day when it is not at a frenetic pace it may be better. You could do worse though, oh no wait a minute you can’t.

Lagerfield is awesome for a few beers out in the sun, or early evening drinks before a big night out at one of the casino clubs or on the gaming floor(Though if you are headed for the gambling floors I’d probably stick to one or two if you dont want to lose all your money). They have a great selection of local and imported beers, as well as a decent cocktail list and full bar. Did I mention they have their own brew? They also have a tapas style menu for lighter meals, of which my favourite would have to be the steak sandwich. That menu is only available from 5pm onwards. On a Friday and Saturday night live music is added to the mix, In the form of a cover band. Its the perfect place to kick backa nd enjoy the company of a few friends, in a fun environment.
