Gochi

Fantastic fresh sushi, delicious hand-​rolls and tasty meals. I go out of my way to come here and think about their Lobster Maki rolls or Soft Shell Crab rolls when I am not. The Bento boxes are mouthwatering and the potato salad is creamy and flavourful. I just had some and I’m already wanting more!

Had high hopes but rolls were pretty dry and seemed were lying in display for long. Had much better recipe of spicy tuna than just rolling in red chili. But Salmon and tuna sushi were acceptable ! Good for quick sushi grab.

Best place to come to for whatever situation. Definitely safe for a pre cinema feed so fear not.
Food is authentic. Takoyaki is on par with what I’ve eaten in osaka! They churn out their food real quick — I’m impressed!
Again can’t fault these guys. Authentic food, quick service, cheap. Go here!

It’s filling, delicious, affordable, easy and healthy! Ticks all them great boxes.
As my family and I walked in to Gochi service was delivered straight away with it also being a busy environment. We were seated and served water and the menus which got me excited.
I ordered the cprisy chicken, tempura prawn and cprisy salmon (with you had to ask for as it’s not being on the menu). There was an order of 15 fresh sushi rolls and the wait, well I wouldn’t even call it a wait. Service was defiantly spot on here with great time management.
The sushi was presented lovely all cut up with ginger and wasabi on the side, yum! Everything about Gochi is amazing!

Was a great experience not only for myself but for my family with haven’t tried sushi before. So it was an interesting lunch for them to finally listen to what all my bragging is about haha.

Quick healthy and well-​prepared, Gochi is a preferable alternative to anything in the nearby food court. Soft shell crab sushi, is something different, and delicious.

A great option for a pre cinema if you’re at Crown, this small simple eatery is opposite Giuseppe Arnaldo & Sons and delivers solid Japanese eats. Yes, it doesn’t have the class and style of Nobu, but it doesn’t have the prices either. However, you’d be forgiven for mistaking some of the dishes for Nobu’s as there’s some real winners there, as good as any basic Japanese I’ve had in Melbourne. A million steps up from the crappy food court, pop in for a sashimi platter before gorging on overpriced popcorn and choc tops.
