Wrap It Fresh

Situation in the airy and pleasant South Melbourne Central foodcourt, Wrap It Fresh is a great concept. Choose from a selected array of wraps and salads or if you’re not inspired by any of these then design your own.
To achieve this you are given a laminated form and simply have tick all the boxes that suit you until you’ve come up with your customised wrap. You then hand it on to the counter and the production line of staff will have your wrap ready in no time despite the ever-​present queues.
The ingredients are fresh and healthy, with wholemeal wrap options. The portion sizes are huge and taste delicious.
My only complaint here is that the wraps cost about $ 2 more than they should. For a turkey salad wrap I paid $ 9.60. It may not be cheap but when your options are limited between the standard foodcourt greasy chinese and stale focacias, Wrap It Fresh is by far the best option.

If you are trying to eat healthy and fresh, and happen to be in South Melbourne, Wrap it Fresh is your best bet. A foodcourt style café located in the South Melbourne Shopping Centre, Wrap it Fresh has a big range of salads, wraps, smoothies, fresh juices, omlette wraps, yogurts and fruit salad. There is a mix of pre made stuff and fresh ingredients that you can have made up to your requirements.
I must admit though a winner for me was the order sheet that they provide you with to make up your own salad. My guess is that to deal with the lunchtime rush from local businesses, some intelligent soul figured that giving patrons a form to fill in with their desired ingredients was the fastest way to get through the punters. Well, it works a treat. I got served quickly even in the middle of the lunch rush.
I liked the way that you know exactly what you are eating and that there were a range of dressings and salad additions. Short of getting your own ingredients from the neighbouring Woolworths its a pretty good bet.
There are tables if you want to eat in (shared with other food court shops) or you can take away.
My only grip — why don’t salad places MIX salads!!! I had to go back and ask for mine to be mixed up. Sort that little hiccup out and Wrap It Fresh is onto a good thing.

Who said healthier food can’t taste good as well as fill you up? The Spotlight Centre really is a great little niche of high quality coffee and snacks, and the Wrap It Fresh kiosk is no different. With a great selection of sandwiches, rolls and wraps both hot as well as cold there is a healthy selection to suit everyone.
They serve some hearty hot soups great as winter warmers, but I just cant never go past the «omelettes on the run.» You can choose to have yours toasted or wrapped in a soft flour tortilla yummy fresh vegies and egg for protein it’s perfect snack to pick up when your on the go.
Finally they do make fresh juices as well, you can choose one off the board or pick an «MYO juice» (mix and match from a list of fruits and vegetables). Wrap It Fresh is available for catering, just drop them an email or pop in store and they’ll sort you out some healthy snacks for your event.
