Excellent pizza crust. Toppings were a little thin, especially the pumpkin on the korma a pizza. It was just a little flakes of pumpkin, and you couldn’t even really taste it. Tons of meat pizzas and calzones, but only three vegetarian pizzas, and no vegetarian calzones at all. Artichoke salad was very good, with plenty of pinenuts, but could have used more artichokes. Sticky date pudding dessert was excellent, specially with an added scoop of ice cream. Triple chocolate mousse dessert was way too sweet. We couldn’t even finish it. Gluten-free crust available, but we didn’t try it. Wednesday night free glass of wine with any pizza. House red was fantastic(The one from WA, not Spain).

We stumbled across this place while driving down South Terrace looking for a bite to eat. Many places were closed on a Monday and the restaurant looked inviting enough that we decided to give it a try. I ordered the sausage calzone which was massive, definitely a meal for two. It was really tasty — I loved the creamy ricotta, wilted rocket and meaty sausage inside. My partner ordered the pancetta and asparagus pasta. It was really good, the super salty pancetta was nicely paired with the tender asparagus and the simple pasta with just a bit of lemon and olive oil. He did comment that for $ 19 he would have at least expected the pasta to be homemade, which is a valid point. I guess we’re just spoiled by the homemade pasta we get from his Italian nonna! Overall pretty good, I’d like to come back and check out the pizza(that is its namesake after all!), there are so many different toppings and on Mondays they do 2 pizzas for $ 30.

Wow, this would have to be the best pizza my family and I have ever had! We shared the Craney Special which had loads of flavour, from the spicy tang of the sausage to the sweetness of the pineapple. I love pineapple on my pizza! We also had the Sanchez which had a delicious cream cheese with pumpkin and bacon. Our lovely waitress was very friendly and efficient, as soon as we were seated, menus were brought over and drinks soon followed. While we waited for our pizzas we were entertained by the chef throwing the pizza bases in the air. Also on the menu are salads, garlic bread and pasta. They have vegetarian options and gluten free bases are available. They are open 7 days a week from lunch till 9pm weekdays and till 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. Specials are available from Monday to Friday which are in my posted photos and they have a pizza club card, when you buy 10 pizzas you get one free.
